The hotel was great! The service was super - the check in staff, the wait staff and the grounds staff and maid service everyone was so pleasant. The exterior grounds were well kept up and the pool and hot tub was cleaned daily. The restaurant food was delicious we ate breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. The hotel had a very Mexican feel to it. You could walk everywhere ten minutes to the beach and tens minutes to the Down town. Everywhere was safe to walk to.
This hotel beats the mega resorts with people everywhere. The atmosphere was very relaxing! The hotel was great!
We will be back.

I don't know about you, but what really sells me on a hotel is the cleanliness and staff attentiveness. Quinta del Sol exceeded my expectations and I will recommend them to my friends and family.

Now for the juicy details:

1. Staff-- friendly, attentive, accommodating, thorough. Our room was cleaned every day by Nancy and she did a great job.

2. Internet-- free, strong signal, consistent, thankful for it because not all hotels in Cabo offer free Internet.

3. Rooms-- spacious, cool, clean. Kitchen-et was helpful. Walk-in closet a nice touch. Spacious tub. We had some noisy neighbors the second night, but the front desk told is they were checking out that day and there were no more problems.

4. Towels-- thank you, Quinta, for not being stingy about beach and bath towels. We needed to ask about wash clothes once, but they were delivered immediately.

5. Food-- free continental breakfast consisted of fruit plate, toast, coffee, tea and fresh squeezed orange juice. Lovely. The restaurant also offered eggs, omelets, other hot dishes for breakfast for reasonable prices. As for lunch and dinner, our family used the Solmar facilities or ... the nearby Costco. Don't judge us, we eat a lot and are on a budget! The prices for the lunch and dinner items at the Qunta restaurant were reasonable, though.

6. Hot tub-- drained and cleaned every day!! That is awesome. However, the water is barely hot by the afternoon. I wish there was a way to speed up the heating process of the hot tub.

7. Pool-- clean, kid pool area, lounge chairs, drinks delivered promptly.

Other notes: 15 minute walk to downtown, and NO TIMESHARE SHARKS!!!! Knowing you will not be hassled in the place you are staying is a great comfort, considering people who stay at the big resorts on the beach are constantly hassled to agree to attend aggressive TS presentations.

We stayed for eight nights. The staff was wonderful, food was great, room was clean, pool and spa were very cleaned. It looked to me as if the spa and pool were cleaned almost every morning we were there. It is right of the road but they once you are past the front desk you really don’t realize how close the road is. There were no issues with traffic noise or anything. Very close to the beach, shopping and marina. The price was excellent and would definitely stay there again.

Stayed here for one night on my way to La Paz. Our flight arrived late in the day so we had booked a night at the Quinta del Sol as it was relatively inexpensive, and conveniently located. As another user said, its a motel. Rooms look out into a parking lot that boasts round the clock traffic as it is used by both the guests and local business traffic. Pool was too cold to swim in and every piece of equipment in the exercise room was out of order with the exception of the treadmill.

Room was OK, clean but small and dated. Beds were not great and traffic noise throughout the night was annoying.

Restaurant food was below average and not cheap either; the included breakfast was basically coffee and toast (there might have been a glass of juice too).

I didn't expect much when I booked this and I didn't get much. Not the worst place to stay perhaps, but I really can't think of any reason to recommend it.
