Amazing resort. Location is great (15 min to Cabo/marina - 20 min to San Jose del Mar) The beach is beautiful and great for excersice or strolling while shell collecting. The rooms and grounds are stunning extremely clean. If you plan on leaving resort to venture out, you may want to rent a car in advance..(75 a day on site) San Jose Del Cabo is worth the trip if you enjoy art and fine resturants. Cabo san Lucas is fun with a quicker pace.

The resort was simply stunning and well maintained. The pool lounge chairs were so comfortable in comparison to other resorts in the area. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Service was always friendly and professional. 5 star treatment all the way! So glad we stayed here for the last couple of days of our stay,it just made our holiday much more memorable.

Just got back from a 1 week All-Inclusive trip from Nov 8-15 and this resort is the best All-Inclusive that my husband I have ever experienced. Being avid travelers for the past 8 years, we've come to know what is to expect from an All-Inclusive resort. This was our 2nd time visiting Cabo San Lucas; last time we stayed at the Riu Palace which was fine because we were there with 12 of our friends. After doing some resort research, it came down to staying at Dreams or Sheraton and I’m so glad we chose Sheraton Hacienda Del Mar!

Check In – We arrived at the resort around 6pm and were quickly greeted by the hotel staff and smiling faces; which is nice after a long day of travel. We were given a list describing what was included with our All-Inclusive package (Note: this hotel offers an All-Inclusive package, but not all guests are All-Inclusive).

The following is what was included during our stay:

Breakfast, lunch and three course a la carte dinners at Tomatoes, Sirenas, Delfines, Sports Bar and De Cortez - some items have surcharge.
In-Room dining available for lunch and dinner.
In-Room minibar includes water, soda and beer.
National and International alcoholic beverages, non-alcoholic beverages and wines by the glass in the above noted restaurants.
Complimentary internet access for one device.

Restaurants – This is not your typical All-Inclusive food that you would experience at other resorts. Being that this is a Sheraton and not a “true 24/7” All-Inclusive the quality of the food is delicious and amazing. It’s very expensive to eat at this resort, for example the breakfast buffet at Tomatoes is $27usd and De Cortez is a 5 Diamond Award Winning Steak and Seafood Restaurant. So you will not be disappointed with the food and service. I recommend dining at De Cortez (which was our favourite) and Pitahayas, which is not part of our package but is also an award winning restaurant.

Rooms – We stayed in a garden view room which was nice, it was a little dated but very spacious. Patio overlooking garden/golf course and large bathroom with separate toilet area, huge shower (unbelievable water pressure) and soaker/jet tub with shutters that look out to tv/bed area.

Pools/Grounds – Like any large resort expect to do some walking but not too strenuous. The resort has 3 main pools; Delfines which is hidden away from the main pools is the swim up bar which surprisingly is very quiet, if you have a hard time finding a spot in the main area check out this pool, you’ll find a spot! The 2 other pools really feel like 4 pools as they are spread out with a view looking out to the beach; there is also no “seat saving’ of the pools chairs which if fair. The beach has very strong currents but I did see a few people taking a dip, I wouldn’t recommend swimming the beach unless you are a strong/experienced swimmer.

Time Share Presentation – At the time of check in we were asked if we would like to attend a breakfast and presentation. We kindly declined at first but decided the next day that we would attend. We’ve experienced a presentation before and let me tell you that this was very low pressure, very nice sales people. They offer food/beverage credits and discounts on excursions so it’s worth it.

Downtown/Nightlife – If you’re looking to party, this resort is not for you the guests are older, families with young children or couples. It’s about a 12-15min ride to downtown Cabo; they offer a shuttle $10pp.

There are so much great things I can say about this resort but it’s obvious that I’ve already written a short story! If you’re looking for an All-Inclusive, true 5 Star Resort, absolutely awesome fine dining restaurants, rest and relaxing vacation then this is your place! We’re also SPG members and have stayed at many Sheraton's, but this is my favourite (sorry Sheraton Maui, you’re in second place now!).

We absolutely love this hotel and the staff and the beach and the grounds... It's close to Cabo san Lucas (cruise ship town) if you like to party the night away and for a little longer drive, visit San Jose del Cabo (downtown is a Mexican village with cute shops) and the amazing restaurants there. The private beach offers a few beach vendors who are never obnoxious and an amazing walk along the shore. We see whales, dolphins, manta rays, pelicans and a parade of boats heading to the nearby fishing and snorkeling areas. The restaurants at the resort are resort-priced but the food and ambiance is unrivaled. Try Girasoles for the all-you-can-eat breakfast served to you at your table from the menu. Unlimited Bloody Marys or Mimosas are included and they keep them coming!
