We just returned from a 5 day stay at the Sheraton Hacienda Del Mar and can say without question this is one of the nicest resorts in Cabo. Upon arrival through a guarded security gate we realized we were in the lap of luxury. Our driver quickly let us know that we were staying at a great resort and also told us that stars such as Nick Cage & Snoop Dog own homes in this same private community. I was a little concerned about the time-share issue but had no problem with the nice lady at the front desk and in fact she seemed more concerned that we were not approached by people at the airport saying they were agents for the Sheraton. (which they are not) We stayed in a Master Suite and it was beautiful. We had so much room we didn't know what to do with ourselves, including three balconies and a Jacuzzi tub in the bedroom. There are 4-5 pools in front of the hotel overlooking the Sea of Cortez. We never had a problem finding a lounge chair or umbrella. The thing I was probably most impressed with was the courtesy of the staff, they really cared for our every need. If there was one downfall to the Sheraton I would say the food was a little sub-par for the price you pay, however the resort is so gorgeous it was very hard to leave. I would suggest renting a car and driving into town a couple of nights to enjoy some real good cuisine at more reasonable prices. We will definitley be staying at this resort next time in Cabo and from the word of the many other nice visitors we met at the hotel I think they will be too.

We stayed in an oceanfront suite with a huge balcony overlooking the river shaped pools and the pacific ocean. The service is excellent for Mexico and the staff are charming and helpful. The restaurants are excellent if expensive. Notably the fanciest restaurant Pitahias (not sure of spelling) is not better than the others. Very kid friendly. Would love to go back.

This resort is the most beautiful place in Cabo San Lucas inside and out. From the outstanding service to activies, it was absolutly fabulous.
