“Honeymooners in Cabooooo!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2013

My wife and I stayed 6 nights at the Pacifica in the beginning of October 2013 for our honeymoon. Could not have been a better choice! Service was outstanding, property was beautiful, plenty of options at pacifica (or at sister hotels which were easy to access) and food was great. First off all of the employees went out of their way to get you anything you could imagine. We actually went fishing during our trip and wanted to bring our catch back home with us but we forgot a cooler (coolers were very expensive near the marina). So one of the staff was so helpful and went to a local grocery store that night and bought us one for much cheaper! Also the pool side service was great, along with the room service, and just the overall friendliness of everyone. Overall property was perfect, no complaints there. I did not notice any pool tiles missing, but I wasn’t searching the property for them either. Surprisingly we did not get caught by the timeshare spill, so that was nice. We spent some time at Rose and Sunset. I would say Rose is definitely the party spot, Sunset is a good family resort, but Pacifica is perfect for couples. No kids running around, everyone is calm, but still having fun drinking and partying.

Room Tip: Ask for a higher up room. Most all views are the same (ocean front vs ocean view).

It was beautiful and perfect. Not able to get in ocean bc of current but almost worth it to avoid the ridiculous peddlers on the sea of Cortez side. Seriously? The pueblobonita is perfect for a couple who just want to relax. PS get the beach bed.

My wife and I stayed at Pueblo Bonito for 6 nights in October and loved it. We are a younger couple (27) and were celebrating our first anniversary and wanted a more upscale all inclusive hotel. Pueblo Bonito Pacifica was exactly what we wanted... a mix of a southwest/desert look with the tropics, a clean, beautiful resort, and very helpful service/staff. The hotel is smaller than average, which was nice, as it was very quiet and relaxing...It didn't feel like one of the huge resorts with a bunch of people. There weren't a ton of activities, especially at night, other than the firepits and a band one night, so it might not be ideal for people looking for more of a party atmosphere. The pool was a lot of fun during the days and the short trip to downtown Cabo provided all the extra fun we needed.

Food was good for the most part. Drinks were excellent, with lots of choices. A few of the general buffets lacked variety, but the reservation restaurants were very good. Being able to visit and eat/drink at the sister resorts was also a big advantage. Pueblo Bonito Pacifica is definitely the nicest hotel of the group and we recommend it!

Room Tip: All rooms face the pools/courtyard/ocean, so your view will be good no matter what. Staying higher u...

Hotel was gorgeous and smelled so good. Staff was attentive and service was excellent. Food was good and food options were excellent. We really enjoyed the Asian restaurant, food was so Fresh. The swim up pool bar was my husbands favorite thing. My favorite was the side by side massages on the beach. We would recommend this resort to everyone and we would go back.

My husband and i spent 6 nights at the Pacifica in October 2013 and we simply loved the property. Here are some of our thoughts -

1. The property - They claim its 'zen style' and it truly is. It has a very calm and serene decor. At night, its pretty quiet. Do not go here if you want to have a fun filled / partying kind of night outs. We visited the 2 other properties of Pueblo - Sunset and Blanco. Sunset is very pretty and is huge which i thought was the downside. You have to wait for a gold cart to travel around else its a lot of walking. There are long lines of people waiting for the cart. No such thing at Pacific. Medium sized and walkable.
2. Poolside - 2 pools- One large by the swim up bar and another smaller & quieter one. We preferred to spend our time at the smaller pool. Blanca served us by the pool and she is excellent. Lookout for her. She is so good and very quick with the orders. The water was not very warm but once you are in it it will be fine. It was pretty warm so make sure you have your sunscreen on. Drinks by the pool are Ok.
NOTE - Do go to the Skypool at the Sunset resort. The view is so amazing. You look down on the Pacific and it looks like an exclusive, oh so private resort, which it actually is. Drinks here ( try their bloody monkey) are way better !!!
3. Food - I wish this was something to write home about. Not so much. They don't have too many choices. Siempre is the only good restaurant where you eat breakfast/lunch and need reservations for dinner. Pescado is a sushi restaurant and was ok. They have an open air restaurant where they have theme nights. We went to the Nautica night which was basically seafood. We make reservations at La Nao at the Sunset when they had their Argentinian night and the food was pretty good.
Pacific has 24 hrs room service.
4. Rooms - We had the deluxe room on the 2nd floor. Views was not bad. The bed though was not so comfortable. Its hard and so were the pillows. We asked for softer pillows which was provided immediately.
5. Commute to the resort - It cost us about $20/person from the airport is a shared shuttle. Pacifica is at the way end of all resorts so the others were charged about $16-18. Its about 25-30 min drive.
I hope this helps.....

This was our second stay at Pacifica. After our first trip we knew we had to come back. You can't beat the seclusion and the peacefulness of this location. We stayed longer this time to fit in all that we missed doing on our last trip. All the restaurant options are great, and bars were everywhere. Outstanding this trip: the Sunday brunch - best anywhere; staff - all helpful, all friendly. Quick and easy taxi drive to downtown Cabo.

Room Tip: All rooms seem to have an ocean view. And even though there is live music poolside three nights a w...
