Where do I begin................................................. From the moment my husband Guy and I arrived at Casa Contenta we were in Heaven. Dora(house keeper) greeted us with refreshing Apple Water and introduced us to Lori. Lori and Dora were so gracious and showed us all around the stunning Villa as my husband and I just looked in awe. We met Lori and Craig's 3 four legged babies; Luna, Solo and Oso. These 3 doggies are just precious and we enjoyed every minute with them.
After traveling most of the day from Atlanta and Delta loosing my husband's luggage(Thanks Craig for loaning my hubby the swim trunks) we were so exhausted so we decided to immediatley throw our suits on and hang out by the pool ( after going to Costco to stock up on some wine, chips and margaritta mix). We had complete access to the beautiful Kitchen which made it easy and cost effective for us to get what ever we needed throughout the day food wise (accept for breakfast of course). On that note, the breakfast at Casa Contenta was unbelievalbe. Dora made a different fruit smoothie each day with a mouth watering meal to go along with it. You are so full from breakfast that you don't even want or need to eat again until dinner. At Breakfast our first morning we met Guy (same name as my husband, how funny is that) and Makal (sp??) from San Fransisco and hit it off immediatley. We were the only two couples at the Casa for those five days and really enjoyed getting to know those two. :>)
We literally left the Casa to go out to dinner 1 night out of five nights which ended up being our first night. The rest of the evenings we ate at the Villa. One night we had wine, cheese, crackers, avacodo etc etc and enjoyed great company of Guy and Makal, and of course Craig and Lori. The third night we went to Costco and picked up the most mouth watering NY Stips and grilled out with Guy, Makal, Craig and Lori and had a relaxing evening looking at the stars and the view of Cabos sky line with the ocean in the background, BREATHTAKING!!! Makal made a salad and Craig had wonderful Chilean Wine. Thank you Craig! The fourth night I had a little bit of the Mexican Funk going on. Guy and Guy both wanted Steaks again so off to Costco they went. Lori was so thoughtful. She brought me some Ginger Ale and apples to help settle my tummy.
Our fourth evening we decided to take Lori up on hiring Antwanella to come out and cook homemade Itallian. Let me just tell you, if you go to Casa Contenta that is a MUST DO! Wow!!!! Talk about homemade Itallian, wonderful and very reasonable as far as price. Dont forget to tell Antwanella you want her brushetta. YUMMY!
Last but not least Lori has the most wonderful massage thearapist by the name of Norma. I had Norma come out 3 times while I was at Casa Contenta. Norma really toped off our visit to Casa Contenta, thank you Lori for referring her and tell Norma I will be back soon!. I am someone who gets a lot of massages and Norma is very reasonably priced. I was trying to figure out how I could put Norma in my suitcase and bring her home. Ha Ha Ha!!!!!
Lori and Craig go above and beyond to welcome you to their beautiful Villa, enough to the point where you do not want to leave. I had a chance to read 2 books while I was there, enjoyed great conversations with my Husband and our new life long friends Guy and Makal and Lori and Craig. I use to think that the big resorts were the only way to take a vacation and boy was I wrong. You haven't had a Vacation until you stay at Casa Contenta.
Thank you Lori and Craig for making it so wonderful. We already miss you and can't wait to see all of you again real soon. Feel free to contact my husband Guy and myself Ali (pronouced Allie) at aandgmocek@bellsouth.net
We will be posting photos soon. :>)
