Casa Contenta is an oasis in the middle of the Baja desert. We have stayed in big resorts before but much prefer quieter, less crowded accommodations. We do, however, want all the amenities that a resort offers. Casa Contenta exceeded our expectations.

This "happy house" is beautifully maintained inside as well as outside. The decor is very tastefully done - nothing formal or too stuffy - just graceful, casual elegance. Our bedroom was very spacious and the bathroom was stunning. No detail has been ommitted. The living room and dining room are very inviting, and the patio and pool area are made for lounging. The crown jewel in my opinion is the rooftop terrace. Our son especially enjoyed the hammocks up there. My husband and I enjoyed the sunsets from the terrace and sipping wine with our hosts and other guests. The view of Land's End from the terrace has got to be the best in Baja.

Our hosts, Lori and Craig, were so hospitable. They welcomed us into their home. They helped us with dining ideas and activities. Lori arranged for me to have a massage on the rooftop terrace. What a treat!

Breakfasts at Casa Contenta are really something! Dora and Lori serve it at 9:00am every morning, and it is delicious. Dora makes the best smoothies!

Dora also keeps the rooms. Everyday our room was as fresh as the day we arrived.

Our stay at Casa Contenta was truly wonderful! I have already recommended it to friends. When we go back to Cabo, we will definitely be staying at Casa Contenta.

Casa Contenta is exactly that, your home in Cabo that makes you very comfortable. Lori and Craig Harrison's bed and breakfast offered a very first class opportunity to relax and enjoy Cabo from a perspective many never encounter. Perched on the mountain above the bay with a spectacular view of Land's End and the rest of the harbor, Casa Contenta offers a quiet interlude to the hustle and bustle of the busy and growing Cabo area. Viewing the sunsets from the rooftop deck are secondary to enjoying the company of the other guests and our fine hosts. We found Casa Contenta very clean and spacious, the hosts extremely accomodating and the food (breakfasts) better than any we have experienced.

The location is excellent. The views are without equal. The host and hostess uncompromising in their efforts to afford their guests a most relaxing visit to not only their home but also the Cabo area.

This Bed and Breakfast is a beautiful Mexican-Mediterranean home. There are four guestrooms, two good sized, and two are huge. Beautiful bathrooms. Lots of living space on two floors as well as the rooftop. It is furnished beautifully, with items from the world travels of the hosts, Craig and Lori. The views of Medano Bay and the famous rocks span the glass-walled main living room and the spacious terrace which accomodates the blue mosaic tiled pool and hot tub. The third story is all rooftop recreation space with hammocks, chaise lounges, barbeque, a palapa roof and this is where the yoga lessons are given. The guests are made to feel as though they own this gem. That is, Lori and Craig are the perfect host and hostess. I stayed four days, and brought my brother and sister-in-law here as well. We loved it!
Dora is the chef and her breakfasts are the best I have ever encountered in a B&B. Plates adorned with tropical fruits, flowers; smoothies, and Mexican and American faire, all served at a table that would make Martha Stewart proud! All ages appeared to be very happy here. An eight year old, teenagers up through grandparent age were equally enjoying their stay while I was there. Lori sees to it that everyone gets what they are looking for and feels especially welcome. We had a great horseback ride on the beach which Lori arranged and
she rode right along side of us. This is a real find; I don't even think my review does it justice--we are already talking about going back!

We felt like we had died and gone to heaven when we arrived at Casa Contenta! The rooms (and the entire house)were generous and tranquil. The grounds were gorgeous, with all sorts of plantings. We only had to raise our heads from our pillows to see Medano Bay and the Arch. There was quick access to town, but no city or traffic noise. The hosts were very attentive, and the breakfasts were the best!! We would return in an instant!
