Went in late August, so it was a slow season. This was excellent because it was not very crowded, although for a single person this made it slightly less entertaining (whomp whom). Beautiful water, clean beaches/pools, good food (lots of options), and plenty of booze to fuel your fire. The staff was excellent in handling whatever we need, very friendly, and helpful. Great place to go and stay and almost don't ever need to leave the resort. I definitely recommend bringing plenty of your own sun screen...that is expensive. Only complaints are no red bull/energy drinks and things were damp in the room probably because of the ocean/humidity...but not a reason to not go.

Room Tip: Whole place is excellent. If you're younger you might try the Santa Fe, it is cheaper and has a...

My wife and I stayed at the Riu Palace in Cabo in March and had a great time. This resort over all, I feel is the best all inclusive resort for the money, and we've been to at least 20 in the last 25 years. The rooms were a 4 star, food was 4.5 star, beaches were 5 star, entertainment 3 stars but go next door to the Santa Fe and entertainment goes to 4.5 star but younger crowd and a little rowdy at times. Activities at Palace 4 star, cleanliness 5 star, staff 5 star. The atmosphere I feel is geared more towards young to mid life adults than to kids or teenagers. We had a relaxing and gastronomic great time, spent a lot of time on the beach under the palm trees, we'll be back.

Room Tip: Ask for upper floor facing ocean.

I was a little hesitant to book my trip to Cabos cause I heard stories that the service is only good for foreign tourism, I was totally wrong! All the staff treat us super good since we get out of the car. Food is good and drinks are great. The beds were super comfy as well and the view was amazing! Right in front of the Arc!

Room Tip: We were staying at the west side of the hotel where the spa and fitness center are located and it wa...

My husband and I visited this resort and had the most amazing time. The room was great, food was awesome and the staff were amazing! We traveled into Cabo and felt very safe and enjoyed our time there. The mall is well worth a visit. We have another trip planned for next month and can not wait!

Room Tip: Do the upgrade for an ocean front room, you will not regret it!

My husband and I spent 7 days and enjoyed it immensely. The room was clean, and well kept by the friendly housekeeping staff. Only small complaint I had was having to ask the front desk a few times before bath robes were finally sent to the room. The ocean view was satisfactory, given the layout of the hotel. We were able to find lounge chairs by either pool easily any time of day. The food was delicious and the selection was good. Wine was horrible, hopefully they changed suppliers for subsequent guests, as there was a lot of negaive feedback regarding that. You had to be early to make reservations at the restaurants, and we had a chance to dine at each one. We enjoyed the buffet as much as the restaurants. Wait staff was attentive & friendly. We were never without a beverage in hand. We arent much for activities poolside, preferring to relax and do our own thing, but people seemed to enjoy it. On advise from our tour operator, we took the local bus to town a couple of days and that was fun & safe. Also went on a day long snorkeling tour to Lands End, which was very good, but not the best snorkeling we've done due to the rough water. We had researched the beach prior to booking & knew what to expect.. Chatting with the local beach vendors was pleasant, a chance to learn a bit about different cultures is always an interesting thing to experience. Bargaining was fun, if you like that sort of thing. We didnt find the vendors overly agressive, as we have in other destinations. Overall a lovely place, and somewhere we might return.

Room Tip: Rooms on the side of the resort closest to the spa & gym are the quietest if you dont mind the l...

I visited this resort with 4 other friends and I had the worst food experience. The quality of their restaurants is extremely poor. They have a huge variety of options in their buffet selection, unfortunately most of these items do not taste any good. We had to actually order dominoes pizza one night as we were not happy with the food. Sushi prepared at the Japanese restaurant looks all fancy when they bring it out but it is not fresh. It is very cold and stiff and is prepared in the morning for dinner service and is then refrigerated. If you enjoy good food be prepared to eat outside.

The lock system was another issue. They use century old locking system for the personal room lockers and do not have LCD tvs in all rooms. We got a boxed 1980s style television in our room even though we did not care about watching TV it still needs to have an updated room.

Went here for our Honeymoon and we had a great time. The hotel and grounds were in excellent condition. The service was excellent from the time we checked in, to the time we left. The food was average at the buffet, but was very good at the specialty restaraunts. Pools were very nice, especially the swim up bar. We had an excellent view as well (I would recommend paying a little extra for a water-front view. It is also a short cab ride from downtown if you wanted to experience that as well.
