Thanks to Trip Advisor's information, we booked Norman Diego's Mexican Inn in Cabo San Lucas. We loved the inn, the bargain price, and the excellent service, for which Rick (staff) refused our offer of a tip. We (three of us) booked the Master Suite for three nights. The Inn is typical "old Mexico", a block or so from the Marina and commercial center of CSL. It is clean, colorful, and has a beautiful palapa patio with georgeous plants, which offered us a cool afternoon respite (since we were not quite geared to the "siesta" schedule, we just sat and enjoyed the ambiance). Breakfast is typical Mexican pastries with delicious juices and coffee; juice is available anytime from the refrigerator off the patio. One day Rick cooked an amazing lunch of fresh shrimp and excellent avacado salsa salad for us for us, and resisted our attempt to pay him for the groceries he purchased. This meal was the best we had during the whole trip, with exception of the one excellent dinner at Edith's. Rick was helpful with information on local destinations and in giving directions and tips that were valuable to us "gringos". We shared family pictures (some taken on the set of the movie "Troy", in which he was an extra) and practiced Mexican-English conversations to the delight of all. The Inn was a wonderful experience that we will remember fondly along with other memories of our visit to Cabo. Thanks to Trip Advisor for the great and useful tip! RJ Smith

We just returned from The Mexican Inn the environment is enchanting, clean, friendly, and relaxing.

The Mexican Inn has a beautiful and charming garden with a fountain and flower covered Palapa to relax and eat in. The people that work at the Hotel were extremely friendly, helpful and make you feel at home.

The ambience of the Inn is wonderful - The perfect home away from home for a vacation. Their location is the best, everything is close - we walked everywhere. The staff is professional and competent.

We will be back for sure!!

We loved it!!! We could not believe how wonderful the Mexican Inn was. Diana and Ricardo were both so helpful:they went out of their way to help us and make us feel at home. The grounds and our room were so beautiful and serene. The candles were lit every night in the garden area which made it magical. The breakfast coffee, rolls and fruit were a great touch as was the fruit in our room when we arrived. We can't wait to go back!

We ate twice a place only a couple blocks away called the Crazy Lobster. Wow!!$15 for a great Steak and Lobster dinner and 7 pesos shots of Tequilla. Try it!

We considered staying at an all-inclusive resort, but thanked our lucky stars that we chose the authentic getaway of the Mexican Inn. Diana greeted us at the door when we arrived and from that moment forth, provided the best service possible. We stayed in the "Maria" room and it felt like home. It was incredibly clean, comfortable with fan and A/C, the light breakfast every morning was perfect and it was nice to have a DVD player for music and videos. We spent much of our time sight-seeing during the day, but really appreciated coming home to a secluded bungalow off the beaten path (with fountains and a beautiful garden). If you speak Spanish or just want a less "touristy" experience, you can't go wrong with the price and comfort of the Mexican Inn. I've already recommended it to several friends!!

My husband and I have been to Cabo San Lucas many times over the years and own a time share but this year we wanted to spend more time in Cabo than what we had available at the Finisterra.We learnead of the Mexican Inn thru some friends and made arrrangements to stay for 4 days.Very attractive and hospitable and a nice quite place! We enjoyed the breakfast (included) and my husband really liked the free movies.What was worth repeating was that we were so close to the restaurants and shops that we were able to walk everywhere.Try Pancho's for dinner and he Argentina Steak House around the corner.We always like the Oficina on Medano Beach - try the ceviche it's really good.
The staff is accommodating and the service was better than the Finisterra.We will be back!
