After researching numerous honeymoon vacations, My wife and I decided to Try out Dreams Los Cabos based on their reviews and amenities. Between us, we have travelled all over the world and have stayed in 2 star all the way up to 5 star hotels.

We booked our vacation using Orbitz. Basically chose the best flights (aka shortest) and the longest duration at the resort in the timeframe we selected (6 days).

We chose the Los Cabos area due to the uncertainty of weather in the Gulf of Mexico/Carribean, during the fall/early winter months. The weather was beautiful. 90/day 70/night. Clear skies not a trace of rain.

We ended up hiring a private car through TransCabo. We were picked up at the airport by a brand new Suburban with our requested chilled champagne. The trip from airport to hotel was about 15-20 minutes by tollway. The driver Cesar, was very nice and was able to tell us about the history and demographic of the Los Cabos area. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were greeted with cold towels from the bellman and our bags were quickly checked in to the bell desk. We had some left over champagne and our bellman Victor, brought us glasses so we could finish our drinks while waiting to check in.

Check in was a breeze. It took less than 10 minutes to get our keys and our bags were at our room in about 5 minutes after check in. We had a Jr Suite room 522. It was located right off the elevator and had the best central view of the resort. From our balcony you could see the infinity pool and ocean behind it. The room was very well appointed. We were in one of the newly remodeled rooms. There is a refridgerator in the tv armoire which is stocked with various sodas, juices and beers. Cable TV, Digital Safe, English/Spanish hotel amenities book, Ceiling fan, good airconditioning, etc. The bathrooms are stocked with gilchrest and soames products and there are lots of towels.

The Pools at the resort are great. The main pool had many activities throughout the day and was more crowded than the other pool, which was more quiet and less crowded. The service from the swim up bars was excellent as was the service from the pool side waiters. If you are looking for lots fun and activities go hang out at the main pool. If you are looking to relax and not be bothered by younger people stick to the quiet pool.

The restaraunts were pretty good for being an all inclusive resort.
We ate at the Oceana restaraunt twice, Seaside Grill twice, Portofino once and the breakfast buffet at El Patio twice. The Asian restaraunt was closed for remodeling during our stay. Our favorite restaraunt was Seaside Grill. They had an excellent Filet, but be aware that the meats are a bit over cooked so order a step below what you usually order. We usually eat our steaks medium and we learned to order them medium rare. Portofino was nice but stick to the pasta dishes. The grilled pork chops were kind of bland and overcooked, but my wifes Chicken Parmesan was excellent. The salads are pretty much lettuce and dressing. The soups are hit and miss and the desserts are so-so. The service at all of the restaraunts and bars is excellent. Room service is 24hrs and the food usually gets to you in about 20 minutes. The staff is very friendly and courteous and communication is fairly easy for non-spanish speaking guests.
The drinks are good throughout the resort. They have a daily drink special that is more on the fruity side. The liqours are decent and the beers are corona and modelo. The bar staff is very good and you will never go thirsty. If you go make sure to visit Alejandro at BarRacuda near the beach.

The nightly activites were pretty fun. We experienced the Casino night, Mexican Night, Monday Night Football, Live Music and Karaoke. The entertainment staff is fun and energetic. Miguel was one of the funniest. They also offer a pub crawl where they take you to town to experience Cabo nightlife.

The maid service comes in around 3-4 pm and there is a nightly turndown service around 7-8pm.

Overall, The Dreams All inclusive experience was very good and we could not have asked for a better honeymoon experience. The staff and amenities are very good and the food choices were pretty good. I would rate dreams a solid 4 out of 5 stars. If you are looking for a good all inclusive, definitely check out Dreams.

This hotel is Awesome! The service and food is excellent. My wife and I had our wedding at Dreams. Both sides of our family agreed that overall this was the nicest resort that any of us had ever been to. We had our wedding on a Tuesday and left for the Riu Palace on Wednesday for our "Honeymoon" We were supposed to spend the rest of the week at the RIU .We woke up on Thursday morning and the first thing that we both said to each other was"We want to go back" We were back at Dreams by 11:30 that morning. We spent the rest of the week at Dreams and were so thankful that we were able to come back. The scenery, staff, service and food was amazing!

A one week stay at the Dreams Los Cabos Suites Golf Resort & Spa is something you gotta check out ! Amazing, incredible and any other exclamation ain't good enough to describe it. Thanks to all the hotel staff who made my stay so lovely, but in particular my regards to Mario, the concièrge, and Nora from the front desk, both of them made my life even more easy. If Dreams plans to have a subs in Brazil, I'd partner it !
Cheers to the good life !

My wife and I honeymooned at Dreams in September. We got there right after the hurricane hit but luckily it did not do much damage to the hotel because the grounds were the ONLY good thing about the place.

It all started when we checked in to find that we did not get our king bed because they were all booked, yet we reserved this months earlier, and instead were asked to stay in a room with double beds but a good view of the ocean. So we went with it and tried not to let it bother us which quickly became a daily occurence.

Next, we ordered room service for dinner because we got in late and it was terrible. We thought it must be because its late and that surely one of the 5 restaurants must have decent food. WRONG! The next morning we went to the breakfast at the patio which has the most RANDOM assortment of food that is not even close to being fresh. It was disgusting to say the least. The rest of the restaurants only got worse, aside from the Portofino restaurant which opened back up two days before we left, and was better than the others but still well below average.

To make matters worse my wife discovered cockroaches in our bathroom. We discovered that the hotel rooms have no seal where the door meets the floor so any critters are free to roam your hotel room, not comforting. So we got moved to a king bed finally that had a terrible view of the small pool with an ugly, dry desert that sits as a backdrop.

My wife and I decided we would drink our heads off the rest of the trip to take our minds off of the upsets but we quickly found that the drinks SUCK! Cheap liquor combined with cheap mixes do not make for a good time. Almost every other hotel in Cabo uses fresh fruit in their mixed drinks. Its not rocket science people!

I got food poisoning (surprise, surprise) and was out for three days. Luckily, we got to go on a jetskiing tour which was the best part of our trip, I think only because the hotel had NOTHING to do with it.

Frankly, I am amazed and disappointed that there are people out there giving this hotel a positive review. If its only for the fact that the views are amazing then fine, they are. But there is more to a vacation than the views. Whoever you are, go on a real vacation. Anyone and everyone, STAY CLEAR OF DREAMS!

i returned from dreams on monday the 22 after my sister was married on sunday! i arrived on friday the 19 and when dropped off at the resort was approached with an awesome cool towel to put around my neck. i than proceeded to check in and head towards my room. being somewhat fresh out of high school (19 yrs old) and still knowing some spanish it was a lot of fun to interract with the hotel staff and was able to learn and teach some phrases and words. i mean come on people you are in THEIR country. i enjoyed being able to go to the bar and order drinks(as many as i wanted) going to the buffet to eat whenever. with this resort being all inclusive i thought it was great, i mean yes im sure we pay extra for it. but not having to worry about a bar tab or charging it to the room was great. i enjoyed dancing in the lobby with friends, but i feel as though 2 am is a little early to turn everything off. also the activity staff was a lot of fun with water volleyball, making it very controversial and making it very competitive. my favorites of the resort staff were Pepe, Miguel(the mexican forest gump), Carlea, and Candice. they all were great with personality and always willing to help. i thought the food was great because im coming from georgia military college. but i had a very open mind down there and took everything in. but too bad you cant swim in the ocean because of the undertoe. this place was very enjoyable the 2 1/2 days i was there! i do reccommend
