“Looks like it closed?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2014

I clicked 5 stars so as not to lower their rating, but when we got there it seems to be gone. Went to the parking garage building where Trip Advisor listing said it would be. A shop guy across the street said they had closed. Any other intel from anyone? We heard such good things about MB.

“Why no reviews since February?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2014

Chef Miguel has created a restaurant that fills a need in Cabo. A menu that fuses his classic training at the French Culinary Institute in New York, his upbringing in San Diego, and his recent history in Baja. The menu also fills a need for people like us who believe in great quality but in smaller portions. This small 25 seat eatery on Calle Madero offers 4-5 star meals, in small portions, at prices that will fit in a moderate budget. We enjoyed 2 dinners over 2weeks and were thoroughly blown away by 4-5 shared plates each night by such items as Parrot Fish sashimi in a ponzu sauce, with a hint of jalapeño pepper. Another one of Peruvian Ceviche with orange juice like that found on the Mayan Coast when making Conchita Pibil, which was another plate we tasted. If large portions are what you're after, this may not be for you, if you enjoy many tastes of tremendous quality, please give Chef Miguel the opportunity to show you an unforgettable evening. You will not be disappointed.

“Outstanding!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2014 via mobile

Best food at any of restaurants that we had in Cabo. Excellent tasting, super fresh, creative cooking. Seafood and lamb superb. Service and cocktails were also excellent. Significantly better value than other high end Cabo restaurants. On ground floor of parking structure (validates parking), so takes hassle away of street construction and parking for drivers.

“Celebrate at Marejada!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2014

My husband’s quest for the authentic Mexican meal for his recent birthday celebration in Cabo San Lucas was perfectly fulfilled by our dinner at Marejada Baja Bistro Barro – Mexican food with a twist. This jewel is the creation of Chef Miguel Luna who accumulated experience in New York and San Diego to prepare for his dream, this charming restaurant. There was a challenge finding it while driving in the dark, but the reward was validated parking in a nearby well lit lot. The wait staff’s enthusiasm, the convivial atmosphere enhanced the experience and the delicious food was outstanding. Two dishes that are worthy of high praise are the octopus specialty and the flank steak. My foodie husband had a conversation about the latter with Miguel and we learned that his technique of marinating the meat twice was his secret. The shrimp sliders were served on a unique platter of flashing lights - fun. Although we customarily do not indulge in desert, the sweet birthday course was appreciated and excellent. I shared the information with our concierge and we will most definitely return on our next visit.

“Excellent Quaint Restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 15, 2014

Although there was roadwork in the area around the restaurant making it difficult to get to the listed parking, we finally got there and were quite happy we did. The menu is full of interesting fusion dishes and everything we had was excellent. Highly recommended.
