My husband and I use Trip Advisor all the time while travelling and have not yet been disappointed on finding a suitable restaurant or lodging. I arranged a dinner for 12 people during a conference in Cabo San Lucas. As GastroBar was rated then as #3, now I see it is a well deserved #2, we booked it. What an incredible experience. Set on the south side of the marina, away from the back to back restaurants along the west and north sides, this restaurant has a quaint, romantic feel. With 12 people to feed as well as all the other tables filled, we all received wonderful food which we raved about. Our favourite menu items were the surf and turf, steak done to perfection, perfect lobster and catch of the day in a lovely lemon garlic sauce. The onion soup was delicious - even my 12 year old son enjoyed it! We all loved the fresh warm bread made on premises with three unique flavours for dipping for a starter. Everyone in my group loved this restaurant. We came back a few days later with another couple from the conference and received the same incredible service from Jimbo and Juan and we were greeted both times by Chef Justo. You have to try this restaurant!
