We had a great stay at this resort we traded our HGVC time for this resort and loved it. The service here was fantastic from every person employed here. From the desk/reservationist to the concierge staff to the cleaning and lanscaping staff we were always greeted w/top notch service. We were only asked about timeshare once. but when we told them we were staying in the Club section they didn't bother us again. I believe they thoought we were already owners there.
When we arrived we were immediately greeted by Alberto who helped us w/ our luggage untill we checked in. Our room was not ready as we were early but the staff pre-checked us in and they held our luggage for us. When you arrive here w/ your own vehicle they valet it for you. At first my husband was skeptical about this but by the end of the week he was used to the great service and was happy to not have to worry about parking yourself. Also, if you are staying in the Club section you must be shuttled back and forth by golf cart. as it is some distance . Again, at first my husband was skeptical but by the end of the week we knew to call downstairs order up our car and golfcart and within a few minutes we were greeted by our front door w/ a smiling driver. We spent a total of $65.00 in tips. (for the car, glof cart, maid etc..) Not at all bad. a few $1, $2 tips go a long way here. But you absolutely should tip each time to ensure great service. We did and that is what we recieved in return. We noticed some Americans who never tipped a penny! (embarassing) everyone else did. This Hotel/timeshare seems to be a popular resort for Mexicans and Europeans. Not too many Americans. Actually after seeing the behavior of many Americans down by Medano beach, The FA was a welcoming retreat in the Corridor.

The room we had here was a beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bath, w/ a powder room villa on the top flr of the club section by the pool w/ 3 balconies w/ a full living room dining and kitchen. The furnishing were all very good and the quality of the tile work and woodwork were beautiful. Yes, some things were a little worn but also well maintained. As I stated I believe this is a very popular resort. We had 2 king size beds and and 2 large pullouts 1 in the living rm and 1 in the adjoining guestroom. in that room there was also a mini bar area w/a sink. There were 20 ft cielings in this room w/ fans and also in the living rm/dining rm. Made the rooms feel enormous. I'm not sure of the sqr ft but the whole place was very, very large. In fact larger than HGVC or Marriott timeshare resorts. The beds were very comfortable. My only disapointment ( if you can call it that) was the kitchen was in need of newer appliances and granite countertops. Everywhere in the villa had beautiful travertine tile and granite counters don't know why they had wood and formica in the kitchen?
The whole resort is beautiful w/ tropical landscaping and ocean views. I believe 5 pools total. The pool bars/ retaurants are a little higher in price than a HGVC or Marriott resort. But very much like a JW Marriott class and prices. The food and drinks there BTW were very good we had burgers (gourmet) Club sandwhiches and smoothies (good stuff). We also tried the massages by the beach. Very nice experience, very professional.
We would go back to this resort in a heartbeat and are planning for next yr! Our overall experienxce here was very positive, We never saw one bug or felt the hotel was at all "cheesy" as stated on another review. don't believe those reviews. Thank you FA for a great week!

I have read several reviews posted about Fiesta Americana, and I have to say I never had one bad experience! First off, there were no so called water bugs or roaches period. Not once did anyone in our group of ten make mention of it. The grounds are unbelievably beautiful and very well maintained! All the staff were on top of their game at all times, helping with any demands or issues we had. I really found their pricing to be very reasonable considering it`s a five star resort. We went on a fishing trip and brought back some Mai Mai that we had caught, and the Del Mar restaurant staff were more than happy to prepare dinner for us with it and it was EXCEPTIONAL! The condos we stayed in were well maintained and cleaned every day. The view from our room was unreal! Our group stayed there for six days and five nights, and had the time of our lives. We are already making plans to go back. Oh yea, and not once, were myself or anyone in my group approached about time share presentations. If your considering vacationing at Fiesta Americana, I don't know how you`d be disappointed. The resort is impeccable, and Cabo San Lucas is the place to be!

I have to agree with the last review. This place was top notch!!! We have time share w/ Hilton Grand Vac. club and they are afiliated w/ the Fiesta Americana. We had a beautiful 2 bedroom unit on the top floor. It was the most amazing view I think I ever seen. We shared this two bedroom w/ our two daugher ages 6 and 8, and another couple and their daughter age 8. We had plenty of room 2 1/2 bathrooms and a nice kitchen and living space. This resort was very clean and the ground were well kept. The staff was amazing always smiling and wishing you a good day. We did rent a car and ate out in town most evenings. We made a run to Costco twice for water, snacks, and fruit. We ate lunch a few times at pool side and where very pleased. Things are pricey but nothing you don't expect at a 5 star resort. The pools and beach for beautiful! We were there from 6/24 till 7/1 and had amazing weather. My family and friends would return there in a heartbeat!!!!

My husband and I recently returned from the Fiesta Americana Grand Los Cabos. This was our second trip staying on the Corridor in Los Cabos, but our first time at the Fiesta Americana Grand.
I must say, after reading some reviews of the resort on TripAdvisor, I was a bit worried about what our experience would be like. But as soon as we arrived at the resort and checked in, my worries disappeared. The grounds are beautiful, the resort was well-kept and the staff was quite friendly. We never saw a cockroach, did not suffer from bed bug bites, nor did we ever feel as though we were being spoken to in a condescending manner - as other reviews have suggested. We often spoke in Spanish (as much as our vocabulary would allow for) and it was graciously received, and often resulted in being on a first name basis with some of the staff.
We tried out most of the restaurants. We visited the breakfast buffet three times during our visit - and was amazed at the options we were offered - mimosas and bloody marys, made to order omelets, a variety of breakfast meats, traditional mexican breakfast items, one station dedicated to healthy fare options (the Caprese salad is muy delicioso), as well as a variety of fresh fruits and pastries (many still warm from the oven). After eating such a large and delicious breakfast, we often were not hungry until dinnertime. We visited the Rosato restaurant our first night there - delicious Italian cuisine. We were seated in front of a window that overlooked the resort and the Sea of Cortez.....during dinner, there was soft (live) piano music, and shortly after we finished, there were fireworks from the wedding that was taking place at the resort! Needless to say, it was a lovely dinner experience, and comparable in price to what we'd expect to pay here in the States. On the days we did chose to skip breakfast, we ordered lunch items from the Peninsula pool bar, they were quite tasty and reasonably priced. Remember, you are at a resort, so expect to pay resort prices.
If you don't mind spending a couple of hours listening to the Vacation Club presentation, I recommend doing it. You receive free breakfast (from the buffet) a tour of the entire facility, and discounts off of various tourist attractions in the area. We did it, and continued to say no, and were not hassled, nor we ignored the rest of the week, for choosing not to commit to the club.
We did not rent a car, and chose to use El Collectivo - the transit offered by the resort to CSL for $10 pp round trip. We were happy we chose to do so, and did not have to deal with the hassle of finding parking, etc. We only made 2 trips down to CSL, so I'm sure we saved money by not renting a car. So it really depends on how often you plan to leave the resort.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience, and plan to return to the resort for vacation again! Compared to other 5 stars resorts, I would say this one is great and well above average - just not exceptional - there is always room for improvement.

Took a girls trip down to cabo and unfortunately chose Fiesta Americana. It was definitely over priced for a cheesy hotel. We paid $310 per night which isnt crazy expensive, however I would expect something better. The only positive thing about the property was the variety in lounging areas. You could sit under a palapa on the beach,
sit by the pool under an umbrella or hangout in a hammock. There were
alot of negatives though. The food was lousy and ridicoulsy overpriced. We didnt have hot water in our room for 24 hours. The spa is disgusting. Dont go in the steam room unless your not afraid of catching something. I booked a reflexology treatment at the spa. For those who dont know what refelxology is, it is basically a massage limited to your feet. I had a male therapist and about 20 minutes into my foot reflexology his hands moved to my chest. I was appaled and told him to get his hands off me. I didnt appreciate that
behaviour. All the areas around the pool area have loud piped in music which is tacky and irritating. I could go on and on. The best advice I have is DONT STAY AT FIESTA AMERICANA.

We checked out some other properties while we were there. Palmilla and Las Ventanas are very nice. Both spas are incredible. My next trip is going to be with my husband and it Las Ventanas for us!
