Well on Friday August 26 my wife, my 7 year old son, my 18 month old daughter, my sister and brother in-law, my nanny and myself all arrived at the Fiesta Americana Grand Los Cabos and were treated like Royalty the second we got out of our rental car. We checked in at the front desk with no wait and all of us were driven in a golf cart to our room. My sister and brother had a studio #1112. Nice room. But the jewel of the resort was our two-bedroom villa #1115 overlooking the endless pool which dissappeared into the Sea of Cortez, simply breathtaking. Definitely the best room in the whole entire resort. If you can get that room get it. The view was a 10 not to mention that the room was beautiful and huge. I would say it was easily at least 1500 sq. ft. 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, one with a whirlpool tub, living room, dining room and a complete kitchen. HUGE!!

Nice atmoshpere at the resort. I needed to be pampered and i needed to relax and i got both. The service we experienced was definitely a 10.

The grounds on the resort, the landscaping was impeccable, the most beautiful i have ever seen and we travel extensively all over the world. I not going to go deep into this review but i will tell you i did'nt want to leave and i can't wait to go back. Fiesta Americana really went all out on this resort and it shows. I give them one big thumbs-up:)

We ended our 8-day vacation at Fiesta Americana Grand and it was the best closing we could ever hope for for an already surreal vacation. We upgraded our room to the Grand Club and now I can't imagine not having upgraded - we LOVE Fiesta Americana Grand!! The service was attentive and courteous, food was high quality and delicious, hotel ground was breathtaking, and our room....ahh...what can I say, large, clean, serene and had plenty full-size luxury toiletries in the bathroom - simple elegance is the best way to describe it. Our balcony overlooked the ocean and the golf course next door and was spacious and had comfortable wooden chairs. The beds were the most comfortable I'd slept in - even better than Westin's Heavenly beds!

The hotel doesn't have a long stretch of beach but it had a few spots for fabulous snorkling. We could see many colorful fish just by standing in the water, and the view underwater was even more amazing. Underwater world is always facinating anyway, but this place makes it easy for first time snorklers to experience the activity because the water is much calmer than the rest of Cabo. The several infinity pools were large and clean and water was always warm and comfortable. The whirlpool was definitely a delightful plus.

I stayed at 3 places on this trip to Cabos - the Westin was magneficient, Norman Diego's Mexican Inn was charming, but Fiesta Americana Grand was hands down the best hotel I've stayed all year - it even beats the Le Meridien in Cancun. I will definitely return, very soon too.

I traveled to Cabo alone and would definetely do it again. Everything was outstanding. It is like a heaven on earth. The service was excellent! The food was wonderful and the drinks were quite good especially the mango margaritas. It is a little pricey, but worth it. I wanted a little R and R alone and truly experienced it. The Spa is great. Ask for a massage from Ilma. The gym is truly nice. You have to pay ten dollars a day to use it though. I traveled into town alone and felt safe and enjoyed my venture. I met wonderful people at the pool and participated in ATV and other activities with them since I traveled alone. The restaurant food is very good but you will want to venture out to town to experience the other great cuisine. Visit the Sheraton next door for dinner at Pinehanas. I will return but probably with my sweetie because it is so beautiful and wonderful place to create memories.

Ok, I'm finally getting around to writing our review of the Fiesta Americana Grand Los Cabos and I will give what I feel to be a fair and accurate review. We were there the week of June 26-30 and upon arrival there were some bumps in the road. We booked this trip through MLT and when we arrived, we were told we did not have a reservation. I have a friend that speaks fluent spanish to call, with me on the phone, the day before we left to see about an upgrade to the Grand Club and when we called, they claimed to have our reservation. So, the first hour of our trip was spent on the phone with MLT getting the reservation sorted out. Which we did. The second bump in the road was once we were ready to check-in, and had given our credit card for any room charges, they had placed a hold on our credit card for 1,000 US dollars. I told them that we pay cash for everything (due to exchange rate) while on vacation and there was no need to hold 1,000 on our CC for room charges. He then said, "what about $500"? I agreed to this only because I had just spent the first hour getting our reservation taken care of and I was a bit frustrated to say the least. Now, my husband and I have stayed at several Fiesta Americana resorts all over Mexico and the Caribbean and as most hotels do, they ask for a credit card but only to place a credit hold in case there are incidentials. This was a first for us so be sure and ask when they grab your credit card how much they are placing a hold for. They do this rather quickly hoping that your not paying attention.

We had read on several reviews to go to Costco and load up on drinks (soft drinks, beer etc.) and trust me, it's the thing to do. I had two drinks in the lobby bar (screw-drivers) and it was $24 dollars so, we rented a car (another thing I highly recommend) and went to Costco. We bought a throw down cooler, a case of beer, case of coke lite and name brand vodka with orange juice for $64 that lasted us all week. Plus, your Costco card from the US will work there as well. Now we were set to go.

This hotel is truly beautiful. We considered an upgrade to the Grand Spa, but there was no need. Our standard room was on the 5th floor, overlooking the beach and was beautiful. The food at this resort is $$ but is excellent!!! The hotel was not overcrowded at all. Dollar rent a car has an office in the hotel lobby and we rented a car for 3 days. Now, I will tell you that you can negotiate a better rate with Dollar rental and don't pay more than $65 a day. That's all I will say about that.

I want to also strongly recommend a day trip to Tado Santos. It's the same direction as going to La Paz and was incredible!! The guy at dollar recommend it and I am so glad that he did. It's a little art town with great outdoor seafood restaurants and some great shopping. No over anxious people begging you to come in their store. Oh and the famous HOTEL CALIFORNIA (The eagles) is there too. Looks just like the picture on their album cover. They also have the Hotel California bar across the street that makes a margarita that was voted the best margarita in some worldwide magazine.

Before I end this novel, I have to tell you about our last day at the Fiesta Americana. We layed at the pool all day long, had the pool waiter bring us the best hamburger I think that I've ever had and at 5pm, before I went in to get ready for dinner, I had the most outstanding massage on the beach for 1 hour. Truly amazing. After going back to the room and getting ready, we decided to try the Risorte restaurant that they have there in the hotel and let me tell you, 5 star all the way. Just so you're prepared, the restaurant is somewhat expensive (what you would expect to pay at a good steak place with a decent bottle of wine) but it's truly incredible!!! A wonderful last dinner to end a wonderful trip to a beautiful resort.

We have traveled all over the Caribbean and Mexico, been on just about every Cruise line and this was by far one of the best vacations we've ever been on. We are already booked for next year and my husband plans to go deep sea fishing with some buddies!!! We were told by several people at the airport that the deep sea fishing is GREAT!!!! If you find your way to Cabo, you must stay at the Fiesta Americana Grand Los Cabos. You will not be disappointed!!!!!

Wow! Just returned from the Fiesta Americana in Cabo. What a treat. You know you are at a great hotel when they open the door to your cab upon arrival and start the royal treatment. The rooms are beautiful and very clean. The food is excellent and served with a smile. The staff is the best I have ever encountered. Happy, pleasant, exeptionally knowledgable. From the welcoming gift and classical music awaiting us in our room, to the turndown service at night - every guest is made to feel welcomed. This hotel is family owned and this is evident in the well trained staff.
Inaddition to the beautiful building, the pools are lovely with potted flowers everywhere, arbors over-flowing with flowers, and limestone stone walls at every turn. The beach has plenty of chairs and of course the water views for every room are great. No one should be disappointed in this great hotel.
