“Beautiful property!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2013

We stayed at the Fiesta Americana Grand June 8-15 in a studio for 2 in Phase 1. Our concierge Fernanda took care of us from the moment we stepped out of the private shuttle and was always willing to help with anything we needed.

I read on here about the beauty of this resort and the length of time the grounds keepers are working and every bit of it was true. The grounds are immaculate. The views from our balcony were amazing!! The pools - were breathtaking. We would upgrade next time to a full balcony as we only had a partial that fit 2 chairs side by side.

We ate at each of the restaurants in the resort and have no complaints about the food, it was all so great!
Peninsula - He had the steak and I the half organic chicken. They were both prepared perfectly.
Vina Del Mar has two themed nights - We ate in on Monday BBQ Buffet - it was ok, good but not as good as the meal of steak and chicken we had the 1st night there.
Vina Del Mar - we ate the breakfast buffet one morning on the terrace. They had anything and everything you could imagine.
Rosato - I had the lasagana and my honey had the ravioli. We both tried the minestrone with our meal.
On a pool day we ate poolside from the peninsula by day menu. We shared the fish tacos and a burrito. Fairly decent for poolside food.

We agreed to listen to the timeshares sales pitch (right at 90 minutes) and received breakfast and a massage for 2. The spa was absolutely wonderful and I would pay for another massage in a heartbeat.

The hotel offered a shuttle into town (about 10 minutes from the resort). $5 each way per person. 1st shuttle out at 9am and last one returns at 9pm. They provide a schedule of times in between, throughout the day.

There were lots of families with smaller children and there were a few younger adults also. i'd say there was a nice mixture of types of families. This is not the 'party' type of resort. We felt very comfortable and relaxed laying poolside and no blaring music from speakers like you hear about at other resorts.

I can go on and on about what a great resort this is. I will be adding pictures soon.

This is the 5th year our family has come to our time share at Fiesta Americana in Cabo. Each year gets better and better. We travel in a group of 8 or 10 that includes our 3 grandsons, ages 8,10 and 12. This year they had two fabulous employees, Elenka and Yasmid who welcomed us and shared fun time at the pool and various activities. They treated us like family, from engaging in bingo, pool aerobics, donut eating contests and so much more. Our accommodations were an incredible 3 bedroom unit with ocean views and huge balcony with a large whirlpool. The pool area is fabulous and serves the best food. Rosata is a special restaurant with a fabulous tasting menu. Our week goes by much too quickly and we can't wait to come back next year.

Fiesta Americana is absolutely amazing. My husband and I love this place! The hotel and the grounds are so well cared for and so beautiful! We stayed at the resort for a week and the staff was amazing, so attentive, so helpful and so fun! We met Jonathan, who I called Mario (because he looks like Mario Lopez) greeted and golf carted us around and he was so helpful on where to get dropped off outside the resort and places to visit when we decided to venture outside the resort. The staff at the pool was so fun and helpful, everyone in the resort was amazing. Our room was a Superior Ocean View, which was nice, but I would upgrade the next time we return and get a room with a full balcony. But the view from our room was amazing, it was room 1101 and honestly we were 40 feet from the ocean, nothing blocked our view, it was beautiful! The spa at the resort is beautiful and incredibly awesome. I had a massage and it was fabulous, there is a sauna and hot tubs in the dressing rooms and overall just a beautiful experience. The food at every restaurant was gourmet and delicious! The breakfast buffet is more food than you have ever seen and the Pennisula restaurant is 5 star for sure. Most lunches we spent pool or beachside and ate from that menu and honestly it was all so good. I have stayed at many all inclusive resorts and Fiesta Americana hands down had the freshest and most delicious food! I will stay at Fiesta Americana again in a heartbeat! The hotel, landscaping, pools all of it is immaculately kept and the staff was awesome! If you are visiting Cabo, this is the only place to stay! Thank you Fiesta Americana for a fabulous vacation!!

Room Tip: Rooms on the end of each building are the quieter and make sure you have a balcony!

We stayed here in June for a week. First, we were given a room that had not even a peek of the ocean on the 3rd floor. We asked to move and they granted our request, though not really happily. The standard "deluxe" room was nice enough, but small. I'm sure a larger suite would make for a more comfortable stay. I'd spring for extra space next time. The grounds are beautiful. There is a large infinity pool and several other pools, all were filled with children during the week. The beach location is beyond fantastic. This was the most beautiful beach I've ever seen.....spectacular rock formations, waves crashing high in the air, lots of pelicans, dolphins, frigates (those are giant birds), iguanas. When the tide is out, the beach is wide and goes on forever. The food was just fantastic. The buffets are excellent, but pricey. Breakfast buffet was $25 a person, but it was included each day with our room. We ate at one dinner buffet that was $40 a person. Everything was fresh and delicious. We had other nice meals for about $10 each. The wait staff guys were very friendly and helpful. In fact, everyone we interacted with was friendly except the lady in the gift shop. If you have a question, go to Jonathan at the concierge desk. If you visit here, please think seriously about taking a boat cruise to El Arco, a global treasure. Los Cabos is definately where the desert turns to sea, just like in the song. Don't forget to look for sea glass on the beach, so you will have a little sparkling reminder of this paradise to take home with you.

Room Tip: Spend the money for a larger room. The hotel is on a cliff, so the lobby is on the top floor, so th...

I'm writing this review on our 6th day of our trip in early June. Unfortunately, we'll be leaving tomorrow. We are HGVC owners and this is our first trip to Los Cabos using Fiesta Americana Vacation Club. We stayed at the Phase I in a 1 bedroom villa with our 12 year old daughter. This place is immaculate. The property is cared by hundreds of workers. They're constantly maintaining, cleaning and updating the property. Our villa was amazing! It was right on the sand and we can here the crashing waves from the villa. We were in the Phase I which are 13 years old, so it can use some updating but the location and the view made up for it. The newer Phase II are higher up on the resort and have good view of the ocean but not close enough to hear the crashing waves. The resort was built on a cliff and it's huge and hilly so we just requested a golf cart to get us around. One complaint is the smelly and polluting golf carts. They really need to upgrade the gas golf carts to electric ones. Cabo itself is great but it is Mexico and you have to watch out for scam artists and couple of wrong turns, you're on a dirt road in the slums. We had a rental car from Thrifty to get around. We went to Santa Maria beach, a total must do and to Medano beach (party drunk beach). At Medano, we ate at this awesome taco place run by a Spaniard from Madrid and a Salvadoran from Washington. How ironic! But the food was to die for. We also ate a few meals by the pool at the resort. Gotta say, it was very reasonable for a resort meal. Get the shrimp Baja burrito. Absolutely delicious for about $10 US. Overall, we loved this place and will be returning soon.

Room Tip: Ask for Phase I in the Villas and you can hear the crashing waves.

We enjoyed our time here very much... The rooms were spacious with good views. We all found the beds too firm but, the staff did try to help us with that. The pool area is wonderful and the food there Is delicious and reasonably priced for a resort. Everywhere else at the resort the food is a most ridiculous cost And nothing that spectacular. We found most of the staff very helpful but the valet service was terrible... My dad uses his scooter to get around, and almost every time we brought the car back no one even offered to help unload or load it. Even while tipping every time we never got great service there. Everything was overpriced, Including a $12 per day charge to use their gym...crazy! And don't be fooled, there is not a swimmable beach...it's rocky and rough.

I cannot say enough good things about this resort. We chose it because of past good experiences at Fiesta Americana properties in Guadalajara and Mexico City. This place exceeded all of our expectations. The room was luxuriously furnished, the view of the pools and ocean was exceptional. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and meticulously maintained. The restaurants on the property were excellent. The service was outstanding from check in to check out. If there was anything to complain about it would be its relatively remote location from Cabo San Lucas, but after visiting town on our second night there it was no big deal.
