Be prepared to pay for everything including internet. Great property wth great ammenities. Beach is rocky bur wonderful for snorkeling. If you're looking for southc beach or Desti ....go there. Cabo is about the people, culture and Sea of Cortez. Every beach location is special...come and enjoy.

We booked and stayed a week in a one bedroom apartment in the timeshare section (whoops...vacation club) section of the hotel. We got an incredible rate and a first class apartment.

The property - pools, grounds, rooms, etc are kept immaculate and well maintained. Yes the food is pricey, but not much different than a nice hotel in the US. But do note, if you book the Vacation Club - you can shop in town for groceries and prepare some of your own meals if you feel you need to watch the budget....if this is your style.

We loved wading/swimming at low tide around the rocks (I know people say you can't swim, but it is possible - just not far out - the waves are large). There are some BEAUTIFUL fish - just takes some bread or tortillas with you and you will not be disappointed. The pictures of fish attached to this post are just me holding a camera under water.

Do be prepared to walk a lot if you stay on the vacation club side, but just use it for justification for mac cerveza y tacos. No problema!

Room Tip: Try the vacation club booked through trips2mexico.com

We booked a room at the Fiesta Americana Grand Club for a week. We requested a king size bed, ocean view room, with a crib for the baby. Upon arrival, we were told King size room was not available and only a twin bed room was available for us due to high occupancy. Had we known that a King Size room was not available, we would select another hotel for our wedding anniversary! We complained to the manager and we were offered 3 days stay at a regular twin bed room and spend the rest of our stay at a Master Suite room in the Grand Club. We accepted the offer grudgingly knowing that we had to unpack-pack-unpack in the same hotel within our stay. We had paid extra for the Grand Club at a 5 star hotel and we expected a better arrangement with helpful staff. Unfortunately, that was not our experience this time. We mostly ate at the Peninsula and the Terrace and tried the Italian restaurant the last night of our stay. The quality of food was awful at the Italian restaurant and the quality of food at Peninsula and the Terrace were just okay. The quality didn't leave up to the price that was being charged on the menu. The staff were generally helpful and accommodating at the restaurants. We didn't bring any water toys or floating tubes for our baby girl hoping that a 5-star hotel would have these as part of their amenities. To our surprise, we found none.

Room Tip: Check with the hotel to make sure your room and special requests are available before arrival.

As with the other three Fiesta Americana Grand hotels, the service, rooms and hotel in general are top quality. The FA Grand Cabo has the fortune of being situated in Cabo del Sol, the home of the Cabo del Sol Golf Courses. The Ocean Course is one of the best I have ever played and I have played Pebble and Scotland. The hotel was so nice. We stayed in the Grand Club section so there is a concierge lounge, separate pool for this section of the hotel as well. The suite was out of this world and the restaurants on site were delicious. Prepare to pay top dollar because even the breakfast buffet was $25 USD per person! The resort is fabulous.

Hello! It was our second time back and everything and every ONE were the same with one major difference... G-20 Summit which took place at Fiesta Americana.
Aside from the G20, it was exactly what I remembered it: clean, attentive and personable staff, food all through out the resort was delicious... Drinks! Holy cow! Must try Miami Vice, Banana Special and Funky Monkey! All of which are so delicious!!! Gracias mis hermanos!!! I will be back soon!!!

Room Tip: We're timeshare owners, the 1400s is a great location

Stayed for work in mid-June. Staff at the hotel all really friendly. Great location with lovely views. Restaurant down by the beach was particularly lovely in the evening. Restaurant on hotel's level 3 had a fantastic buffet with hand-cooked tortillas (wheat or corn) and complimentary margaritas on one of the nights we stayed. Rooms very well maintained. Can't fault really. Los Cabos is a strange location, surrounded by complete desert, but really interesting at the same time. The spa is superb - had a massage and manicure the morning of departure and it was SO wonderful.
