This was packed on a weekday for lunch, which has to tell you something. Excellent food, great service and good environment. Good value compared with downtown restaurants, but my Cabo friend told me she's taking me to others in the area of Campestre that are considered to have food almost as good, but at a lot cheaper price. So for the moment I'll take her word for it and rank Restuarnt Campestre as 'very good'....

“Best meal of the entire vacation!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2013

We heard about Campestre from one of the locals and were intrigued. The standard tourist trap restaurants around the marina didn't interest us so we went for a half hour walk from the main tourist area to Campestre. The staff were incredibly nice (especially since we don't speak any Spanish) and they were quite accommodating. The menu was straight forward (they have an English one for us gringos!) and there was a fair bit of selection. The beers were cold and the chips & dip/salsa that were brought out while we waited were great too. I had the best chicken enchiladas of my life and my girlfriend had some ridiculously amazing chicken fajitas. The refried beans were out of this world too. To sum it up, the food was amazing, the service was top notch, and the prices were surprisingly cheap. I highly recommend this restaurant - it's off the beaten path but it's worth it!

“Real Mexican food - real value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2013

So you've come all the way to Mexico...why shouldn't you seek out real Mexican food like the locals eat? That's whst you get here. Eat with the locals and don't pay tourist prices. We had two great meals with more food than we could eat, along with two huge mango margaritas for $27!! The daily special was good but the arrachera was even better. Others in our group raved about the coconut shrimp and the imperial shrimp. Even with the cost of the cab ride this dinner was a steal. Get off the beaten (tourist) path and eat here. You'll be happy you did.

“Hidden in Cabo - Taste of Real Mexican Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2013

The restaurant was recommended by the hotel concierge. It was one of the best recommendation that I have received. The food and the price was fantastic but the service was outstanding. It’s worth the cost of the cab.

“Best authentic local cuisine at fabulous prices!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2013

Outstanding food and friendly service. A must visit for us every time we come to Cabo. It's a short cab ride from downtown Cabo (about 12dollars each way). We often take a cab and then walk back to the marina after breakfast. The breakfasts are to die for with huervos rancheros at the top of the list - the chorizo is fabulous as well. We had breakfast here twice this week followed by an outstanding dinner of coconut shrimp, imperial shrimp (shrimp stuffed with cheese and wrapped in bacon - oh my!), followed by two lobster tails that were cooked perfectly. The four of us shared a homemade flan with brandy sauce that was absolutely delicious. Arturo made us feel at home and truly made our dining experience one to remember!
