What a find, courtesy of TripAdvisor. El Velero is everything the reviewers said and more. Food is delicious, owners are gracious and more. We're actually considering a 2nd visit this week, based on the quality of the food we were served and the great interaction we had with the owners. Make a point of finding El Velero on the main drag - worth the visit and more.

We've been coming to Cabo for years with our friends and have our favorite Italian rest. to eat at, this year we discovered El Velero, young couple from Italy just started 1 yr ago. We loved it so much we ate there 3 times during our stay. The lasagne is awesome, tied or better that La Dolce's, the tiramisu is best we' ve ever had. Good wine choices. Very friendly couple, she cooks while he waits tables, they are a joy to converse with. Will be top of our list to go back to next yr.

I've had spinach lasagna and lasagna bolognesa - both incredible. I've also had the bread ravioli which is very tasty, but more of a fall dish for me (with sage). Yummy pesto on bread. Kids loved fettucini with the cream & parmesan and also the piadina (like a thin crust pizza). Like everyone else says, the tiramisu is the best I've ever had, but I also loved the lemon sorbet with vodka. Would definitely recommend! Only wish it had a better decor. It looks more like a sandwich shop than the fine dining italian dinner restaurant that it is. It's kind of lucky for us that no one seems to know how great this place is - it's never crowded- but I want to make sure they stay in business so we can keep eating here!

This restaurant is an absolute must go. I had the ravioli and my husband had the fettuccine diablo . Both were homemade pasta and prepared perfectly. If we were here longer we would be going back. Service was very attentive but unobtrusive.
The restaurant is on a Main Street but easy to find across from the Wyndham Hotel.
