Upon entering the airport we were bombarded by time share salesmen. Beware!
The airport is roughly 25-30 minutes away, which is around $50-70 cab ride for a family of 4. The resort was very very clean. The maids did a wonderful job!. Use the safety box in the room. My wife and I has a massage, (Oceanfront Expeience) and I would highly recommend the spa. Service was outstanding. We our not owners but did an exchange through RCI. Just be careful of what time of room you get when you do the exchange. The resort owns a few resturants and I would recommend Sea Queen and Galleon which we all enjoyed. We went to a Mexican Fiesta at the hotel next door which was really good. Drinks included and a show. I believe it's every Sat night. We also attended a cocktail or happy hour inside the timeshare lobby next to the pool bar. The manager gave away 10 free weeks to 10 different quest. It's worth taking an hour to go to. The pools were awesome. Volleyball seemed to be going on every day and winners got free drinks. NOt much for kids to do. Nice large hot tubs too. If you want to swim in the ocean this is not the place. It's strictly a pool vacation. We went snorkeling and didn't enjoy it much. Cloudy water and many people got stung from the jelly fish. We went on a dinner cruise boat and that was nice. Down my the marina you can eat breakfast for less than $30 for 4 people, they have good speicals. Overally, everyone was friendly and the sun was WARM.
