beautiful, nasty employees. Difficult people at the front desk, make your stay miserable.

Nice resort, however, given the limited number of lounge chairs at the pool...there is a daily game of chair claiming which begins at 0700 (pool opens at 0830) where guests run out to the pool area and throw towels on the chairs, then disapear. One day we left the pool area for a short walk on the beach, with the intent of returning to our chairs.
When we returned, one of our towels was missing. When we attempted to explain what had happened, a Supervisor engaged us in what resulted in a very heated discussion, advising they would not accept our explanation for the missing towel, until an entire reconciliation of their towel inventory was made. Then and only then would they consider not charging us for the missing towel. In the end they gave us credit but I found it absolutely unbelievable we found ourselves arguing over an $18.00 pool towel.

world class in almost every respect:architecture,view of the Pacific,not all,but most service personel,proximity to downtown Cabo, relaxed atmosphere. The worst we can say about Playa Grande is the room chairs and sofas belong in a mobile home not a resort of this stature.

We just LOVE Playa Grande! We have been coming to Cabo for over 10 years and we have stayed in lots of places and this is te best!! We have 2 separate weeks a year that we stay here. We love the pacific side. You get to hear the waves at night and they can be amazingly loud. It is not on a swimming beach so if you want to jump in the waves forget it!! It is very dangerous and the shoreline is very steep. We swim in the 3 great pools and enjoy watching whales as we lay out. The rooms are great and we LOVE our maids. We even went to one of our maids home for dinner! It was great. We have heard of a few problems when checking out. The people lost there towel cards and are being charged! Really a silly system that only makes people mad! They say a washcloth is missing from the room and are arguing over a charge for it. Ther seems to be lots of nickle and dimeing going on. We have never had a problem, tahnks to my husband who is always quizzing me over room keys and towel cards---so be careful! The drinks and food by the pool are very reasonable and good. Cabo is very expensive overall..Our Mexican friends that live in the colonies have to pay as much for things as you do so don't feel like if you go outside of town a little you will get a better deal--nope!! Anyway, LOVE Playa and can't wait to go back in Feb. and see the new gym and registration area. It is first class.
