You can get great prices on rooms via your traditional hotel/flight websites. I can tell you we paid 59 for the junior suite and 109 for the master suite. A total of 11 of us went just this past week 23-27 August (6 adults, 5 kids). The rooms were much nicer than expected, along with the hotel itself. The rooms have microwaves, sink, table, plates, forks, spoons, cofee maker, iron... The hotel is by the beach and has a volleyball court, nice pool, internet access, unlimited national (US) calls from the telephone room, and a nice entertainment room with games and a big screen. The food is good, not expensive and the drinks are good as well. I tried the chicken breast, chicken fingers, and nachos while we were there and didnt get sick. The prices range from 5-8 bucks on the plates mentioned above and lobster is around 28 bucks (which I didnt try). Note that this hotel is not a party hotel. If you are looking to party go to downtown cabo. This hotel is very quiet, nice to relax. We were the only ones at the beach and pool our first and second day. There was a couple of people on the third day. Another thing I liked was the air conditioning units at the hotel. Every room (we got 3) had very powerful samsung air conditioning units.. The telephone room had a unit, the computer room had a unit, everywhere you go its cold. The computer room has about 6 computers with internet, and there are 2 printers to use free of charge. The unlimited US calls was also a plus. I was calling everyone and their momma while I was there. When I read the reviews and saw the negatives, I didnt want to stay here. I took the risk and it was well worth it. So you wont be surprised, I will outline a couple of things you must know. LOTS OF STAIRS !!! Be ready to walk at this hotel, as there is no elevator. There is approximately three/four floors at the hotel, so bring your running shoes. If its wet, be careful not to fall because the floor is very slippery if it rains. My mom fell once but didnt hurt herself. We did see a couple of dead roaches in the walkways but they were more like water bugs and didnt bother us. Another thing we saw was a mouse having a great time running around the hallways.... I mention this not to scare you away, again this hotel is excellent, but its something you might want to know. Its next to an empty lot and a private home so its expected to have some wildlife running around. There are no TVs in the rooms. There are no phones in the rooms.
Would I stay again at Marbella if I was at Cabo ? YES
Would I recommend it to a friend ? YES, with the disclaimers above.
