We just returned from our first(an anniversary trip) visit to Cabo - it won't be the last. The motivation was fishing for my husband. We started out at a hotel I found online which will remain nameless. After attending a very informative time share presentation at PBSB, we arranged to move there for the remainder of our vacation.
Just a short cab ride from town, it is secluded and quiet, with great security. The level of service from all staff was high, every bit as good as a Ritz. The hotel is mostly suites, all new, beautiful buildings, 3 pools with swim up bars, and lovely grounds, with all rooms looking out on the Pacific Ocean. Two of the 3 restaurants were open, 1 casual, and 1 a bit nicer. The latter has theme night buffets as an option most of the week, very reasonable. All food at both places was excellent.
Except for fishing trips that were pre-scheduled, I would have been perfectly happy to have not left the hotel for anything.
Our return day was the day before Rita was to hit Texas, affecting our flight home. The concierge and front desk could not have been more helpful arranging alternate flights and assuring us that we would have a room if we could not go home.
For a really nice hotel, the price was well worth it. I'm already planning when we can go next year!
