The first night we were in Cabo, the deck seemed lively and full of fun (happy hour), although we were headed out to explore, so we made a decision to go back later in the week. We decided to go for lunch later in the week, but wish we wouldn't have. The view is beautiful, but that is the only thing worth going to the top for. We were one of two tables, however it took forever for our food to come out. Then when we finally got our check, we asked for change from a $20 bill to tip our waitress and received Pesos back. (I know I'm in Mexico, but we didn't have a problem anywhere else on the island getting American dollars back) We noticed we did not get the right change, (everyone else on the island had a 13/1 ratio, but they used 12/1) but it was even less than 12, so we asked if they could take the Pesos back and give us American, but the bartender did not want to.Then when asked to just give us our money back, he told us we owed him five pesos, although that was the change he gave us. Finally, after a five minute back and forth, we started completely over. Our bill was $60.50 so we gave him the exact amount, even though he said "he can't accept change" and we ended up only being able to tip the waitress the three dollars we had. I felt bad for the waitress, but in the end it was really all the experience deserved. I will never go back to either location of Baja.
