“Very, Very Good, Pretty Expensive”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2014

Eating here was a great break from Mexican food and we really loved it. Our server and tepanyaki chef were so friendly and accommodating.
The food was all so good, however it is pretty expensive. Worth it though!
Highly recommended if you enjoy tepanyaki places!

“Flames is the BEST!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2014

We went to Flames on May 8 and had the best dinner we've ever had! Juan from Sushi Time boat charters recommended we take our fresh caught marlin there, and for $15 each they would prepare it several different ways. I can't tell you how delicious it was, how artfully prepared, how delicate, yum! Every dish they brought us was different, and like eating pieces of art. Flames is at the end of the marina by Ruth Chris steakhouse. It is beautiful inside, modern and warm. The staff is outstanding. They look like they truly enjoy their jobs and like pleasing you. We showed them the picture of the 150 pound marlin we caught that morning, and they loved it. After preparing the sashimi, sushi, rolls, and steaks, the chef personally came to our table and cooked right in front of us on the grill. There was so much food it would have feed 4 or 5 people with leftovers. They will also come to your table and do a Benihana type cooking demonstration. So, its a really fun place and they really care about making you happy. They take pride in their restaurant. I don't do a lot of reviews but they deserve a big shout out. Go out of your way, and eat there. Yay for Flames, we will be back!!

Food and sushi good but pricey for what you get. Owner is very nice and would go again We had teh Bentos box and it is all inclusive but small protions. The Spicy Tuna sushi is good.

“Second trip - still fantastic!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2014

This was our second trip to Flames and we were glad to see they are still here and doing well. This trip, we had our four boys with us and they loved the show and our chef... especially the ketchup bottle at the end :)

Loved the onion "train" and the juggling/flipping of eggs!

Thanks again for another FANTASTIC Teppanyaki dinner! It was perfect! The staff tended to every detail and it was a great experience & meal. We tell everyone about Flames :)

If you happen to have a smidgeon of room left, after supper, the deep fried ice cream is delicious!

We'll be back in a couple weeks (February 2014)

“Teppanyaki for me and the kids, sushi for the hubs”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 27, 2013 via mobile

Great show. We have had Teppanyaki all over the states and though the show was e same it came with more flames. The volcano onion was a dramatic flame eruption that my little boys are still talking about. We had hibachi steak, chicken and shrimp and it was all very good.
