We took the Sunderland Pirate ship sunset cruise on Dec 20. Excluding us there were only two more couples on the ship. It started really well and the crew were nice and friendly. The pirates paid extra attention to my 4-yr old daughter and she had a blast with them and we all had a very nice time. It was very relaxing. However, the night after we got back to our hotel, both me and my daughter started to have vomiting and diarrhea. The infection was so bad that both of us had fever....our vacation turned into a nightmare pretty quickly...we had another whale-watching cruise booked for next morning with Cabo Escape. Obviously we couldn't make it and lost our money on that as they said it was too late to cancel. But thank god we only had two hrs flight back to Houston that we somehow made it on the next day and could get necessary medical help. It took us almost 10 days to get back to 'normal'. Thinking about the source of the stomach bug, only possibilities are the ice that they served with the drinks (my daughter had a pineapple juice), the food, and the ladies toilet. Since my husband didn't get the bug and didn't use the toilet I think we got it from there. Both of us had to use the toilet... and boy, was it real dirty. Anyway, just learned a lesson hard way. No food, no drink, and absolutely NO TOILET in any cruise like this.

In Cabo san Lucas many hospitals reported during the high season virus infected patients . During past months many tourists have been struck by virus induced vomiting and fever due to increased exposure to airlines and weather changes .
We provide antibacterial gel, hand cleaner and clean bathroom facilities.
