This resort is first class in every way. Every unit has a great view; ours looked out over an infinity pool to the ocean. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and capable. The food was great, both in the restaurants and in the lounge areas. Our favorite was the lobby bar, where we could sit next to water features and look out to the ocean beyond. Although it isn't safe to swim at this location, good swimming beaches are close by (as is the marina and many attractions). In short it was a very relaxing and rewarding experience, our best vacation as a couple since our honeymoon. We are looking forward to returning.

The Staff was very Friendly. We had a very quiet and relaxed honeymoon. We did the "all inclusive", which was perfect for our budget. The food was good. No unexpected fees. We felt safe when we left the resort to attend some attractions and visited the Marina. The resort was very clean. The rooms were very clean.

Room tip: The closer you are to the pool, you get some noise, we did not notice it unless we opened our window.

The Grand Solmar was great. The staff was very good, particularly Samuel in concierge and Jesus at the Pool Bar. There was some construction at the entrance but did not bother us. We hope to come back.

Hands down... Most excellent experience at spa! Expensive... But worth every penny! Outstanding massage, nice meal, terrific service. My husband and I felt like movie stars!!! An absolute must! We felt like we were in a treehouse... With the magnificent waves down below.

Fantastic location, rooms, amenities. All inclusive meal plan can be a hassle as after every meal, drink or snack you have to give your room number and sign a receipt. If you go over the money limit you have to pay at the end as they track your spending. What they do not tell you is that tips are included so if you add a tip you will have to pay it at checkout. Meals and wait service are fantastic but, with only one full-time restaurant, we got a little bored eating at the same place all week. Several other restaurants are available but require a long walk to access. Lots of construction going on right now but when it is finished the place should be a jewel.

Dear gjackovin

We thank you for your review and for consider to saty with us this time, doing the meal plan package that as you mention, requires the guest to sign for the check just to make sure that everything we offer that day is correct. It a procesure that we hope everyone understand.

We are finishing construction at the main entrance at the moment and know that you will love the final product.

Sincerely,
