This was our first trip to Cabo and the Bahia Condo Hotel was our choice because it was only a 1.5 minute walk to the beach and because it was the only hotel in the beach area that had the 2 bedroom condo setup we were looking for at a great price. The rooms were beautifully decorated and clean. The only down fall of our unit is that there is no outside deck. The pool was very clean with a wonderful swim up palapa bar. Omar, who managed the swim up bar, was the friendliest, most attentive person you could want. All the people who worked at the Bahia from front desk to bell boys to housekeeping were very friendly and took care of our every wish. The restaurant has a wonderful T-Bone steak and good breakfasts. There is a little convenience store 3 doors down for all our incidentals. We always felt safe and secure at the Bahia and will most definitely stay there on our next trip.

This is an absolutely terrific little property just half a block from El Medano Beach and the famous Office Restaurant, Billygan's Island and Mango Deck. It has great views of the ocean and El Arco and really nice guest rooms with full kitchens.

Currently, Bahia is going through a refurbishment program including brand new refridgerators in all of the rooms; new beds and a completely renovated restaurant/bar area.

If you are looking for a bargain property in one of the most perfect locations in Cabo San Lucas, this might be a good choice.

I had a little over $1000.00 USD stolen out of my luggage while staying at the Bahia last week. Hotel staff either the maid or the housekeeping manager according to room key report broke into my locked luggage and helped themselves to quite a bit of MY cash. I reported it to management and after several hours nothing was resolved. I asked hotel management to call the police so that official report would be taken and management refused to assist in this. Report has been filed with the police with no help from Bahia Management. I personally asked several other hotel guests in the lobby or at the pool and 3 out of 5 also had some money stolen from their room. This problem has been brought to attention to Bahia hotel management and they refuse to admit there is a problem, or even try to help resolve. Very disgusted in how Oscar and Miguel the managers handled issue. I am an owner in the Bahia and have been going there for more than 10 years. Very disappointing to have such a bad thing happen and then not an ounce of support from corrupt staff. Guests BEWARE

My boyfriend and I just got back from Cabo last night. We found an inexpensive package on Suntrips.com and decided to give Cabo a try for three days. Neither of us had ever visited Cabo before, so we didn't know what to expect exactly. If I had to repeat the experience I would not stay at the Bahia. I think it is a better idea to stay at a larger, nicer resort on the Corridor and then just take the bus into town when you want more action. The road infront of the Bahia is dirt and it kicks up a lot of dust. Medano beach is kinda dirty and smells like gasoline from all the boats and jetskis. There were sooooo many street vendors, which made sitting on the beach unpleasant. El Arco and Lover's beach were alright, but were crowded when we visited on Monday afternoon. The Bahia hotel was an average hotel with moderate service. The pool was relaxing after the madness on Medano beach. We had problems the first night with the shower. It was backed up with hair (EW) and the man who fixed it left the gigantic clump of black hair in the bathroom! I was bitten in the hotel room by some weird insect in bed and now I have bites all over my legs. I usually attract bugs more than the average person though and my boyfriend did not experience one bite. We hardly spent any time on Medano, instead we took the public bus on the main highway to other beaches along the corridor. The bus system is easy and inexpensive to use, much better than the rip off taxis if you don't have a rental car. Los Cabos is better explored with a car (in my opinion of course). DON"T MISS: Bahia Chileno beach or Palmilla beach because they are swimmable and beautiful without the nuisance of vendors. Costa Azul beach was very nice. THE BEST LUNCH EVER AT "MUNCHIES" on the other side of the road at Costa Azul. We ordered a smoked tuna sandwich and hibiscus lemonade TO DIE FOR!!!!!! It made the whole trip worth it, plus it was a great bargain! Hope that helps anyone thinking of visiting Cabo.

The bahia is the best place in Cabo if you are looking for a quite, affordable, relaxing place to stay. It is not fancy and bling bling like the Melia or Bonita, but it is clean, pretty, comfortable and perfect. Just 1/2 block from the best part of the beach, kitchens in in every room, great pool, balconies and great views- you just can't go wrong! I have stayed here 4 times and will stay again with out hesitation. Simple, easy, no stress.
