Overall a wonderful experience with 121 a 3bed/3bath unit. Great location, plenty of space, quiet (yet we felt comfortable sitting and laughing/talking outside at night) and fabulous view. Everything we used worked well, including the internet, the concierge service was great with someone in our party who had lost luggage. Also used the office for dinner reservations and that simplified things for us.
The furnishings had been recovered and were very nice to relax on.
One problem, the bath in one of the suites had a Real Problem with sewage smell. We learned to keep the door closed and basically not breathe when using it....but as we say in our family.....Diesel and open sewer, the smell of adventure!! I do plan on bringing this issue up with rockstarrentals as it really could be a problem to a lot of travelers.
Terrasol has a great layout and location. Oh, and the pool bar and restaurant are excellent, Mario and his crew are not to be missed

We were very impressed with the unit plan. It was a HUGE unit and the deck is massive and we loved how you could just walk right out to the sand! We were surprised by the beautiful view, the pictures did not do it justice. And such a great location! We timed it and it was a 4 minute walk for us to the start of the marina, and about a 7-10 minute walk through the marina to squid roe. we even found that the walk to medano wasn't bad. The pools at the complex are also incredible - I didn't realize there were 3! it's nice having the 2 non-heated and the one heated option. The staff were great, and the grounds are beautiful with the groomed sand and flowers.

Ultimately, re-reading some of the less positive reviews I think people are being unrealistic. The unit is older, the dishwasher and washer/dryer maybe aren't whisper quiet and stainless steel, but they work and that's all that matters. Maybe the mattresses were a little firm, but we actually preferred that and it's something that's fairly common in Mexico. Ultimately when we arrived the unit was clean, welcoming and well-stocked.

Other feedback - we couldn't get the air conditioner in the main room working, but truth be told we didn't try very hard or bother calling maintenance as it wasn't that humid and both of the units in the bedrooms worked perfectly for sleeping. Also, the jacuzzi was clean and ready when we arrived but the motor is really quite loud and we were concerned about disturbing other guests so we didn't bother with it. We did not book the unit for the jacuzzi -- who wants to sit in a hot tub when its 35 degrees? If you NEED a jacuzzi and plan to book the unit specifically for the jacuzzi then this is not the unit for you.

Also, if you need a brand new space with leather couches, granite countertops and 300 thread count sheets then this is not the place for you. The unit is incredible value for the money, at least half the price of other units in Terrasol. It has all the conveniences of home and the decor is authentic mexican with bright painted walls, tile floor and rattan furniture. We were very happy with it and hope to return next year!

In regards to the owner, Linda was very accessible to me. She was reachable by email and always responded same day, and when I called her she called me back within 24 hours. She honoured all the commitments she said she would and followed up after the fact to get feedback on the unit and if anything was needed. I had no problems with her at all.

My 5 girlfriends and I stayed in condo 112 which we rented through Timmy at Rock Star Rentals. We've stayed at Playa Grande in years past so we were familiar with the area. We were extremely impressed with the location of our condo and the conditions within it. The rooms were large and with all of us in one condo we had plenty of room. The only minor complaint we have was we could have used more bowls, coffee cups and dish towels but that's about it. We loved the amenties of the complex and the pool w/ swim up bar was great. The lunch menu was very reasonable. We eat lunch there almost everyday. We really enjoy the quiet environment both during the day and night. You are pretty much left alone which is what we wanted. Condo 112 has a great view of the ocean and the second pool. We all agreed that we'd stay again at Terrasol. We had plenty of beach towels and we even had an air bed to use which was perfect. The flat screen TV was great but we couldn't figure out the remote control very well. We'd really like to have a TV in the two bedrooms and also a hair dryer but those fews things will not stop us from coming again next year! If you want a quiet, laid back condo this is it! We loved and will be back next year for sure!

We booked our stay at the Terrasol through Tim at Rockstar Rentals. The unit had everything we needed, plus great views of both pools and the ocean. We would definitely go back. Hopefully the wireless internet will be upgraded so that we can pick up the signal from our condo.
