“A Must Stop!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2014

Hacienda is one of our favorite restaurants in Cabo. It all starts with the view upon descending the stairs. Great view of the Arch and Medano Beach. The service is wonderful and the food delighful. We love the Sea Bass platter for two. Also the ceviche was delish and their drink menu has wonderful handcrafted selections. We always stop here while we are Cabo. Thanks again for such a great time. Also you can't beat the pricing for an upscale restaurant of this kind in Cabo, right on the beach!!! Oh, and we were able to make dinner reservations using Open Table.

“Yummy food, Great atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2014

The salad was great--the Tortilla Soup was the best I ever tasted...incredibly delicious--not spicy but flavorful!

Great fish as well....and the churros for dessert were perfect with chocolate dipping sauce.
A memorable meal overlooking the ocean with a beautiful sunset.

“Rude Restaurant - don't you dare step on the beach!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2014 via mobile

I was here tonight with my family along with my sister and her family. We just paid our 400.00 bill and our toddlers were getting antsy. The guys decided to take the kids to the beach (the Restaurant is on the beach mind you) while my sister and I finished our wine. Apparently the security guards will not allow you back in the restaurant if you step foot on the beach - So the guys had to try to get our attention to let us know they were not allowed back on the property to get a taxi back to our hotel. We were told we had to walk a mile down the beach to go to another hotel to get our taxi. This was insane. If I spend that much money on food in a restaurant that had no other diners in it, I would expect that my kids could run on the beach for 5 minutes instead of running around the tables in the restaurant. This place isn't that fantastic that if you got a few grains of sand in a BEACH FRONT restaurant that it would be any big deal. Just thought those of you with kids should know - our waiter was awesome though - I'm sure if he knew what was going on he would have been as appalled as we were.

The restaurant is open to the public but the property is private. Unfortunately we have had people take advantage of the restaurant location and allow their children to go swimming while at the restaurant and/or even park their cars in valet to go down to other venues on the beach. Our agreement with the property is that our restaurant guests are on property solely for the use of the restaurant. All beaches are public but to access the beach you must do so through public entrances not resort properties. In your instance security did not seem to communicate this properly and may have been overly strict which lead to your frustration. For this I apologize.

“great view and amazing appetizers”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2014

Great service! Price is fair for the appetizers $11-$13 USD. Quality ingredients, portions are not very large but the quality makes up for it.
