This was a bit unexpected. We have stayed in many a hotel - good and bad in Mexico. This was far and away the best. Every little thing was thought of. Beautiful decor - out of a designer magazine. Spotless. Wonderful heated tile pool area. Beautiful bathrooms, on and on and on!

The best part: Estella. She was a perfect host. Gave us great insght into the area and things to do. Also her brother gave me a ride to and from the bus station to pick up bus tickets to la paz. She called rental car places for me to get the best prices.

The breakfasts were gormet and delicious in the beautiful outdoor dining area adjacent to the pool. Wireless internet was nice. Also they have a monsterous video and book collection that can make the wee hours of the night go by.

The only downside, if you can call it that is that, is its a 5 minute walk to the town center. I certainly didn't mind (being away from the roudy gringos) and the hotel is so nice that I could have stayed there all day every day.

Thanks again Estella and Jr.!

My husbad and I just returned from a week at The Bungalows two days ago and we miss it already! We were there to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary and had such a wonderful, special time. I selected The Bungalows from the reviews on this website and I am so glad I did. All entire staff is amazing and so service oriented, they really truly care about making your trip unique and memorable. My husband and I are very young so we didn't mind walking to the beach or the resturants, in fact, we really enjoyed the walk. All the food places we ate were fabulous (Ediths, Panchos, Mi Casa, etc.) and we apprecaited the recommendations from Jr. and Erik each night. However, nothing tops those Breakfasts each morning! We would seriously wake up and be really excited to see what yummy dish we were going to have (hungry or not). We have nothing even close to that tasty for Beakfast in DC. After a long day at the beach, my husband and I would walk to The Bungalows, make ourselves some drinks and snacks and have a little happy hour in the pool. It was like we had the whole place to ourselves, no one in the pool but us. We loved how warm and inviting the Inn is. When ever we do return to Cabo, The Bungalows is were we will stay!

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of returning to the Bungalows for our honeymoon November 13th-23rd. This was our second stay here for many reasons and we were extremely excited to spend our honeymoon here.

Tisha, Carina, and Erik handled all of the details and preparations. So there were no worries regarding our reservations or airport transfers. Carina had arranged for a private Escalade ride from a company by the name of Diamond. I would suggest to all of you out there not to do it any other way. The price is not much more than you might spend for a long, crammed shuttle ride and is about the same price that you’ll find a taxi ride for. Diamond uses a toll road so we arrived at the Bungalows even faster. We were immediately greeted with a hug and smile from Erik upon our arrival at the Bungalows. We had once again arrived at our home away from home. We were able to stay in the honeymoon suite this time, which was excellent. We had plenty of space, privacy, and a private patio with great views of the ocean and city.

The breakfasts were as excellent as ever. They continue to amaze me with the different selections and presentations had every day. Estella and the kitchen staff do a great job and are so pleasant to see and talk to every morning (unless of course we were lazy and had it delivered to our room-another perk of the honeymoon suite). We also had the pleasure of an hour-long massage from Lilia and Rosie. It was so relaxing and topped off the honeymoon just right. The Bungalows now has all spa services to offer so I’d suggest taking advantage of that.

We were also very fortunate to spend some time with Erik and his fiancée Elizabeth. They showed us some beautiful parts of Cabo we hadn’t seen and we shared some great times with them that my wife and I will never forget. They are fun and sincere people and you can’t help but love them from the get go. The pictures we posted capture a bit of those memories. We also enjoyed some of the best local cuisine referred by Erik. Los Claros- the best fish tacos in town (scallop, fish, shrimp, smoked marlin, etc.) and great prices too. Of course we visited our favorite taco stand Gordo Lele’s that is owned and operated by Javier. He is the nicest man you’ll ever meet and has a heart of gold. His food is just as incredible. You have to try the Gordo Lele Torta! You’ll also need to visit Patagonia, which has an assortment of great meats, soups, and bread with incredible drinks and service. Ask Erik or Estella for directions to any of these places. You’ll be sorry if you don’t. We were also lucky enough to catch Sammy Hagar visiting at Cabo Wabo for a night which was very cool.

Saying that Erik or Estella “manage” the hotel is an understatement to all they do. They ensure that ALL of the guests have everything at all times including dinner reservations, activity assistance, and most importantly excellent advice to make sure you have the best time to be had.

I cannot say enough nice things about Erik, Estella and all of the Bungalows staff. From the kitchen staff all the way to the security guard to the housekeeping staff. You’ll get nothing but smiles and kind words from everyone. This is the only place that I can truly “let go” and relax without a care in the world. I leave all of my problems at the airport when I visit the Bungalows family. And we can’t wait to do it again.

Thanks for another brief escape from the ordinary to the extraordinary.

I just had to give my opinion of The Bungalows in Cabo because I was so impressed with their service and attention to detail. They make sure you are well taken care of and that you have the most
fantastic time in their town. We were there for a couple days & then moved to a
closer hotel by the beach. But we regretted the move because we missed the
ambience that the Bungalows provided as well as the fantastic breakfasts every
morning. We ended up returning the day of our departure to enjoy breakfast with them and say good-bye. They made the stay in Cabo feel like home. Thanks especially
to Eric & Jr. and their hospitality. It will be easy to recommend The Bungalows to all my friends & family when they visit Cabo. Thanks Again!

My wife and I stayed at the Bungalows for three days at the start of November. It was rated #1 on TripAdvisor and we were not diappointed. Excellent breakfasts, rooms were very clean and quite large. Estella and Eric were fantastic. We stayed at a 5 star resort for the first 7 days but felt much more welcome and at home at the Bungalows.

We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Tisha who happened to be there for the weekend. Tisha was extrememly nice and showed us many of the rooms as we plan on coming back with more family members next year. There are a variety of accomodations from queens to two bedroom studios. All the rooms were furnished slightly different which made it all the more charming.

Improvements in some of the empty rooms were underway such as shower doors and tile work which just proved how much the staff and owners care about maintenance. However, we were not aware of the improvements going on until shown around. This was nice as the traquility of the pool area was maintained.

The grounds were beautiful and very well maintained. We felt completely safe and welcome at the Bungalows. We will definitely be going back for the great accomodations as well as Estella, Eric, Jr. and all of their families. Ask Eric for all of the good off the beaten path food and drinks spots such as El Gordo Lele and Al Rincon de los Barrochos.
