I think we can safely say we'll always stay at the Bungalows when we come to Cabo in the future. This was our 2nd stay there (3rd for our son) and it feels like coming home. Our group was there over a total of 10 days - we had 13 people coming and going over that period of time and it was a great place for all of our needs - business retreat for some, vacation and relaxation for others, and access to the restaurants and nightlife of Cabo for most. It provided us with just what we needed - an oasis in the midst of a beautiful place and the freedom to participate in what we wanted to do on our terms. To me, that is the ideal.
As always, Estella and Eric make this place special. They are there to be a resource, provide help and make you feel at home. My arrival came complete with a hug from Eric and as I stepped through the entry gate, I felt relaxed. This place makes it almost impossible to stay stressed.
We had a certificate for 3 free nights at Cabo Villas from a prior timeshare pitch and we decided to extend our stay and use it there. After our arrival at the new place, we called back to the Bungalows (our oldest son was still there) and told Eric we'd never stray again. The comparisons were just too stark. When we called the front desk there, we were a number. When we call the front desk at the Bungalows, we are people. It makes a huge difference.
Our diverse group all loved the place. The ages ranged from 8 years old to over 70 and they came away with a wonderful impression of both the hotel and town. For most, it was their first time in Cabo and we are glad they felt the same way we do about the Bungalows.
I could rave about the breakfasts, the peaceful poolside hours, or the exceptional service, but I'll just say it's as good as ever and I'm glad we know it's there when we need it.
