I stayed at Los Milagros after 5 days at an all inclusive resort. Preferred Los Milagros over the craziness of the resort. It is in a wonderful location right up the street from the nightlife and shopping of Cabo. All the reviews that have already been written about this property are absolutely true! This is a hidden gem in Cabo and the management is wonderful! I was fortunate enough to have my flight cancelled two days in a row so that I was able to stay longer. Absoulutely loved my stay here and will definately return!

I have never actually posted any hotel reviews on TripAdvisor or any other place for that matter. Always planned to in the past, but never actually executed it. (apologies for any redundancy)

Just got back this month, first week in July 2007, after celebrating our 13yr anniversary. And, based on the reviews here at TripAdvisor, I chose to visit this delightful boutique hotel. Instead of first selecting a city and then searching for a hotel, I selected the city after I chose the hotel. This was an absolute first for me, and I was not disappointed in the least.

I cannot recall ever reading a hotel review that had so many positive and glowing reviews...one that had so many 5s. Even the Ritz and other such POSH places often warrant scores of negatives. But, not this place. I believe, for anyone who has complaints about Los Milagros Hotel, are either starting off with unrealistic expectations or are bonkers. The daily maid service is reliable. And, the price for your stay for what you get is absolutely unbelievable.

If you go to the website www.losmilagroshotel.com.mx it is very clear what to expect. I mean, Los Cabos is afterall, not a metropolitan city in the States. Cabos is a Mexican city with a warm to hot climate that caters to partygoers and people who like water sports. We, however, are not the frat drinking party-going type.

I did read one negative review, but it was after my stay there. It was a complaint from someone who never even stayed there. Talk about not playing fair!

Sandra the owner/proprietor who lives on the premises totally rocks!! She is basically always there at your beck and call, except for when she has to shop, eat, or when she sleeps! How she manages to have a life betwixt all that is mind boggling.

Los Milagros is absolutely beautiful, a little oasis, designed with gorgeous tiles and detailed work throughout the "compound." The rooms are very clean. For someone, such as myself, who hates bugs, especially cockroaches (which you will no doubt see in the tropics, Caribbean, Hawaii, the streets of Hollywood at night, and on occasion outside on the streets of Los Cabos, nary a one was observed within her walls. And, believe you me, those of us who freak out at such life forms somehow always manage to see such critters.

Sandra´s stylish tall metal gate / door is opened every morning (I never got up early enough to see when it opened), and like clockwork is closed every night between 8.30pm and 9pm.

She is very personable, sociable, approachable, and down-to-eath. You can tell she absolutely LOVEs her job. She loves children. She is always chipper and a delight. She really is great with people, and she makes you feel like a v.i.p.

As well, she often has "regulars" that love both her and Los Milagros, and who come back again and again. I think this is because by the time you leave you will consider her more as a friend than simply someone who runs a hotel. And, you can add us to that list, as I would return in a heartbeat. However, next time I would simply prefer to just hang out at her tranquil "sanctuary," leaving only to eat, shop, and scuba dive.

She was always offering her services, asking if there was anything else she could do to make our stay any more comfortable.

Our first morning there, I decided to cook breakfast and needed some cooking utensils that were not among those supplied in our kitchenette. Not only did she return quickly with "supplies," but she offered us the use of her personal cookware until the duration of our stay.

When Sandra learned that we were going to Cabo Pulmo, 3 hours away, to go scuba diving, she offered us beach towels and an ice cooler. Thankfully, she offered the cooler...our getting stranded in the Mexican desert at nightfall with no food or water and minimal Spanish fluency is a different matter entirely!

It´s the little touches that you receive while at Los Milagros that help to make your stay there a pleasant and enjoyable. Oh, I simply must put in a plug about the cool eclectic music adds to your relaxation in the courtyard.

I can say more...but I think I made my point by the second and third paragraph. Enjoy!

If you are umming and arring where to stay, don't, just book the Los Milagros, sit back and watch the days tick by until you get to stay in this fantastic little gem of a hotel ... you lucky people.

From the time we arrived (minus my luggage) the proprieter Sandra was there to greet us by name, to the time we left we were made to feel very welcome in this little oasis. She even helped me retreive my lost bags - maybe because she was fed up seeing a sweaty Englishman in the same trousers for three days!!

Congratulations to Sandra on creating this great small hotel, she has everything spot on, the gardens, the landscaping, the furnishing, it all comes together in a laid back relaxing environment to flop into after a hot days/nights acivities!

Remember to use Sandra's knowledge, especially on restaurants (highly recommend the steak place around the corner if you are a red meat eater) and don't sit in your room, have a drink on the terrace, say hello and meet some interesting friendly people.

I absolutely loved this charming and beautiful hotel. What is really amazing about this hotel is how relaxed and calm you feel to be within its walls. After spending several days (or even one day) out and about in town or at the beach, it was always a treat to be able to return to such a quiet and tranquil place. The hotel was always very clean and our room was very comfortable. We stayed there for 6 days and and never had any issues with our room or the hotel. The hotel is situated in such a prime location (within walking distance to the marina, beach, shopping, wonderful restaurants, and even the local grocery store). I will be coming back to this hotel the next time I am in Cabo and would highly recommend anyone to stay here.
