This Hotel is EXCELLENT for the price. It feels like your staying with family! The best part of this place is the court yard and amazing gardens. The pool does not get warm until August but is refreshing on hot days in the spring. We have been there 2 years in a row in March. We like to go a few days before one of our time shares and enjoy the peace and tranquility of Los Milagros. Other places might have more luxuries, but this place is like a breath of fresh air. I like that we can talk to Sanda (an American owner) via email and pay deposit via pay pal. She is very helpful, and treats every one like family. My 3 yr old daughter is still talking about the last two years with Sandra, and misses her. The rooms are all pretty nice. I love the penthouse and the two rooms up stairs (I think they are 110 and 112????). The upstairs rooms have another out side seating area . #7 is nice and looks over the court yard. The hotel is in the middle of town which might turn some people off, but you can get any where quickly and on foot. Sanda closes out the rest of the world around 10pm and its very safe. (its Gated) This is the kind of place either you get or don't. I feel very sorry for the ones who don't get it.

I don't know why everybody loves this place. It's fine for the price. Not comparable to a normal B&B that you would be used to. No breakfast, pool unusable, and it's in a bad area (got followed to door by locals who then pounded on the door after I locked it). The host was not as warm to us as the other write ups. She was not bad, just not anything out of the ordinary. Not a bad place to stay if you just want a cheap room and won't spend much time in it, but don't expect some unreal deal for the price. No clocks in room and they only except cash for the payment (Sandra failed to tell us this on the phone). Bring your own shampoo since that's not included either (I know it's cheap, but just a heads up). If you want a good deal head down to Zihua and check out some of those places.

  • Liked — price

Stepping from the streets of Cabo into Los Milagros is like entering a private paradise; an oasis of serenity amidst splashes of local color. The owner is refreshingly gracious and her efforts sparkle in the warmth of the hotel’s welcoming allure. I am so happy: the vacation was blissful and the accommodations charming.

We recently returned from a 5 night excursion to Cabo. We stayed the first 2 nights at the Los Milagros. Having done a lot of research on Trip Advisor, we decided it would make sense to stay in town a few nights to experience the local fare and to be close to the Marina for our planned Fishing Adventure.

The reviewers on Trip Advisors did not disapoint when they rated Los Milagros the #1 most popular place in Cabo. I kid you not, when you walk from the street throught the big iron doors, you are walking through the closet into Narnia. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but the best part is that you can truly kick back and relax. Sonya, the owner is super! I She is fun to chat with and will answer any questions you have or point you in the right direction for whatever you are looking for.

Finally - The Cabo area is so grossly overpriced. I think the prices for lodging, drinks and food rival prices in Hawaii. Cabo is not paradise unless you are a golf addict or deep sea fishing addict. If you are on an adventure and want an experience where you are not pinned to a all inclusive resort deal, then Los Milagros should be on your itinerary.

I stayed at the Melia down the street for two nights and then switched to Los Milagros. Don't get me wrong, the Melia is a great place if you don't care about the price (I paid about $500/night), but at just under $100 a night for an equal sized room I would have to say Los Milagros is a steal. Extremely clean, very quiet, and in one of the best locations in all of Cabo near the beaches, marina, restaurants, bars, etc. It's only a few hundred feet to Cabo Wabo and all the craziness but somehow the way the streets turn makes the hotel very secluded and quiet. Excellent wireless connection too if you need to get some work done like I did.

I wouldn't recommend it to spring-breakers or hard partyers though, its not that type of environment at all inside the hotel.
