We spent 3 nights at this the Los Milagros hotel and had a wonderful time. The location is perfect. 2 blocks from everything, yet it is on a side street and out of the way of most noise and traffic.
First, what this hotel is. It is a clean, comfortable hotel with rooms that are relatively small but adequate in size. All the necessities are present. The toilets flush, the water is hot, and bugs are nonexistent. The pool is really small but the setting and the ambiance is outstanding. And, you can’t beat the price. It is really a place for the seasoned traveler who has been there and done that wants to get the most mileage as possible out of the dollar.
Sandra, the owner and a seasoned traveler herself, is very accommodating and will do what is necessary to make sure you have all the tools and information to enjoy your stay. But, she is not a concierge. This is the right hotel for the right person.
Internet, very important!! Sandra has WiFi but you have to ask her for the code. She does not, to my knowledge, have computers available for public use. I did not see any.
Now, what this hotel is not. It is not a hotel for someone who needs to be on the beach, needs to have $30 hotel breakfasts (who can really eat that much and if you really can do you really want to admit it?), or needs to be around 10 thousand newly met friends around an over crowded pool or beach area. And, it is not a hotel for someone who likes to spend $2-300/night. The $80/night rate at Los Milagros is the best deal in town.
Close to the hotel are excellent restaurants that charge what your typical restaurant at home would charge. I did five dives over the weekend while in Cabo and use Deep Blue Divers. They, too, were outstanding.
I highly recommend this hotel.
FYI, I will be diving in The Seychelles in July. Look for my review. Happy travels!!
