“Charming hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2013

Our 4th stay at this small hotel in Cabo was just as pleasant as the others. It is located in just the right place to be able to walk everywhere in the city. Close to restaurants, the marina, the beach and bars. The hotel could use some updating but it is so pleasant you really do not mind. It is clean, the owner is delightful and very helpful as to where to eat, and what to do. A beautiful garden area has been created for functions and the owner had a party while we were there to which we were invited. I highly recommend Los Milagros to anyone going to Cabo.

Room Tip: Choose the room that is up the steps and overlooks the city.

We stayed here the last week of December. We were looking for something low key as we are not party people. After reading the reviews on TA, we thought this would be a great place to stay. We were not disappointed. It is very close to shops, restaurants and the marina. Yet, once you come in from the street the place is comforting, reasonably quiet and clean. The owner was always there and very accommodating with advice, beach towels and information. One of the staff members (Margarito) always had a genuine smile and a helpful spirit. We stayed in room 102 and utilized the refrigerator and gas stove (loved having a small kitchen in the room). The room contained tile floors; the bed was comfortable (pillows weren't so great) and my husband's only complaint was that the water pressure could have been better. If you are looking for a clean, peaceful place to stay in Cabo San Lucas, I would recommend the Los Milagros Hotel.

We needed a place for one night in between 2 resort weeks, and were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. You don't even notice it from the street, but inside is a nice shady courtyard climbing a hill. The rooms were large and clean, the service friendly, and best of all the rooms were relatively cheap. And, it is very downtown so you can walk everywhere.

Room Tip: Ask for the room at the top of the stairs for a nice view...

We have been coming to Cabo for 4 years this was our 10th trip . We were given a tip from some locals about staying at this amazing little place and all I can say is Best stay in Cabo ever !!! Sandra is a great host all her staff including workers working on the new garden we so kind, our room perfection shower was the best we have ever had in Cabo. We felt so safe there so much better than a resort with lots of people ! Easy walk to everything great bars and resturants close by and it's so quite for being right of a busy street And yes no bells and whistles like a resort but so much more relaxing . Can't wait to go back in January with some friends . Thanks again for our best trip Sandra !!! Sandy & Dave

Nice little boutique hotel with good rooms and genial hosts. Not a big resort type property, but centrally located and comfortable. It very hot and humid while I was here and the pool was very cool and refreshing.

2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2012

We were booked to stay at Los Milagros for 7 nights in August 2012. We chose the 'master suite' based on photos provided on the hotel website and the positive reviews on trip advisor. Upon arrival, we discovered that Los Milagros is basically a cheap, somewhat run-down hotel with a nice courtyard. The owner's greeting to us was curt, and we were put off by her comment "My only rule is that you have to turn the a/c off when you leave your room". Hmmmm... it's Mexico in August - The a/c stays on thank you very much.

We found the 'master suite' lacked any of the very basic items one would expect in a hotel such as an alarm clock, hair dryer, room safe, bar soap, shampoo and conditioner. This could have been forgiven had the room been in good condition, but it wasn't. There were two dirty mats on the floor, an old carpet, and worn, thin bedding on a small hard bed. A large circular window (which was smeared with dirt) lacked any kind of shutters or blinds which meant sleeping in would be impossible. The hotel is also a long walk (20 minutes or more) to Medano Beach, although close to the marina and restaurants.

The 'master suite' is $125 US and a complete rip-off. We left after one night and were delighted to find a lovely resort on the beach for only $30 more. We are extensive travellers and have been to Mexico on several occasions - overall, Los Milagros was a huge disappointment.

I always stay at Los M if I do not stay with friends. My room is always 104, right by the pool. As always it was fantastic. Love having the kitchenette and close proximity to everything. Makes my Cabo stay even better! Thank you Sandra and Ricardo.

Room Tip: Any one with the kitchenette if you like having a place for left overs, your beer, wine, coffee and...
