“Best Off-Track Inn”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 6, 2013

This establishment's ambiance was welcoming and positively memorable. The beautiful and tropical presence is incorporate into the bedrooms, also in the open atrium within the Inn. I recommend the bedrooms on the second floor without walls. The owner was the key to our wonderful memories. Victor is quite familiar with Cabo's history and the incredible locations for food and fun. We had dinner at a recommend site that was cherished by our friends and family and then an incredible breakfast on the beach. The Cabo Inn is locate close to the main strip, yet in a nestled site. The staff and owner were positive and forthcoming. The rooms are kept clean and the rooftop possesses an incredible view.

Charming and quaint, this Inn has connections to everything you need to really experience all of Cabo's local heritage.

"......or do you really want to feel like you are in mexico?" A quote from the owner.

Before we knew it we were in a romantic dining room of a local restaurant for hours where the food, service and ambiance were authentic and delicious. We had a blast making friends in the courtyard, getting a great massage, then strolling the town to experience the local nightlife. As far as the accommodations, the rooftop "palapas" are the way to go! You will feel like you are in a different world.

Morning brunch, at the recommendation of the owner, was right on the beach. Banana pancakes, smoothies and micheladas went perfectly with the warm sand and sun. Anything you need, this hotel can do it for you without letting anyone take advantage of you. I highly recommend.

Nice smaller hotel with friendly staff. Nothing to complain about here. Most importantly its in a nice location and close to the main strip. The staff were all nice, rooms were kept clean, the hotel is nice a quiet and it also has an awesome rooftop and main floor common area!

Truly enjoyed our stay of 4 nights. Liked the real open, airy atmosphere, authentic Mexican aesthetics, and the 3rd floor/library. We met a wonderful group of electic people. The owners and staff were very nice and helpful. The room was what we expected and needed, experienced no problems. Will recommend the Cabo Inn to friends and family.

p.s. Hope the new little family addition is doing great!!

Colorful and eclectic hotel wth fabulous common areas but not enough to make up for the tiny rooms. I think ,my wife and I's biggest issue was there is no door for the bathroom. This room is so small that you cant have a standard door because it would hit the toilet so theyve constructed a half door so it will swing over the toilet but its just a wooden frame with fabric covering the middle areas. Offers no privacy, the room is so small you have to hear the person use the restroom. If you want a cheap room that has great location this is your choice, but for us it just didnt work

No doubt this hotel is in a great location and the common areas have charm, but the rooms are quite neglected. The rooms are very small, which is fine, but the washrooms are awful!! I was really looking forward to my stay there as I read so many positive reviews. I was especially looking forward to meeting the owners based on the great things people had to say. Unfortunately the owner was very unpleasant. Besides the fact that the towels were so old mine had a hole in it, it was dirty. When I asked for a new one, she accused me of taking it to the beach. Well I had just arrived the night before and the entire day was rainy, so accusing me of taking the towel to the beach as though I was an irreverant adolescent was really un-nerving. All subsequent interactions with her were very unhelpful and cold. I have stayed at quite a few low budget, small character hotels around Mexico and have always had a positive experience. I couldn't wait to get out of this dump!!
