“Awesome Time!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 1, 2013

First i can say that the hotel is at a great location to Medano Beach, shopping, and restaurants. Pedro and Antonio are the best.. they will help you not only with your bags but also advise you on where to go and what are the best activities. They will aways greet you with a smile and enjoy dealing with the customers. The timeshares are the first thing that you experience as soon as you walk out of the airport. If you can handle it and decline you can get some awesome deals for very cheap. otherwise decline from the beginning as you will get stuck in something you will regret later. For the all inclusive dining Presto( Italian) was the best. If you like Sushi Imomo was cool, and Jacks was very attentive and had a great Lunch Menu. They have a friendly staff, hotel was clean. Just a few minor things, my Jr suite had no iron which i thought was weird since most hotels do have them. some of the restaurants had limited menu choices. EVen the vendors on the street & beaches are respectful and they sell some pretty awesome things. no major observations, have a blast and soak it all up. its a great vacation!

Room Tip: Jr room is either for 2 or 4 people with a kitchenette( stove, small fridge, toaster, pans, etc), ha...

Just got back from Cabo today, not feeling so impressed. My first mistake was purchasing a deal from living social and my 2nd buying an all inclusive package deal. As we got off the plane we met a couple whom had visited cabo frequently, the first thing they had to say was "heres why we dont buy the all inclusive packages; the liquor is cheap and makes you sick, the food is cheap and your not at the hotel as much you as you think you will be" If only we knew this information BEFORE we left for our trip. The Cons: The taxi ride arranged by the hotel was 20$ per person both there and back. A total of 80$. The drinks were disgusting. They only served the cheapest beer/liquor and the bar outside by the pool literally smelled of rotten papaya..it was really disturbing. The rooms were OKAY. nothing special. Extremely outdated. was hoping there would at least be an auxilary cord for my iphone. The food served at the hotel was mediocre bar .food; nachos, tacos, chips and salsa, hamburger, ceasar salad etc. EXCITING. NOT.The breakfast buffet looked promosing, however was very low quality, didnt taste fresh and I was sick after every breakfast. And whatever you do DO NOT DRINK THE "GREEN JUICE" served at the breakfast buffet. I was so extremely sick all day after drinking. The outside restaurants which are included in the package are pretty cheesy and their food is horrible. I was so excited about the Imomo restaurant being a sushi lover.....sadly the sushi was horrible as were the entres. The only thing that was half way decent was the miso soup. The service was slow because they were obviously under staffed. The presto restaurant was also pretty bad. The baja lobster was most decent option. After day One we already were dreading our meals and had to go buy some corona's at the market beacuase they didnt even serve them at the resort. The whole trip i felt pretty ill. Not sure if it was the drinks or the food, but i am now at least thankful to be suffering at home. Oh ya and the pools/ hot tubs close at 8PM!!!! WTH. The Pros; The waitstaff and bellmen were ALWAYS smiling and happy to help as much as they could. There was a pool on the other side of the resort that no one knew about, so it was peaceful to get away from the crowd from time to time. The package we bought included a 50 minute massage which was pretty relaxing. They also offered to upgrade us to a bigger room with a view of the pool which was very nice of them. The location was also pretty good if you want to buy souviners and do all the tourist attractions. Just be prepared to be bombarded by salesmen every 2 feet on the boardwalk. All in all. I wish i would have put the 740$ towards a nicer hotel and said screw the all inclusive package. Def wouldnt do it again. And wish i took the reviews into consideration first. Hope this helps.

Room Tip: room 140 overlooks the private pool area

antonio is one of the first people you see when you arrive. What a special treat!!!! this is the 2nd time I stayed at this resort and he remembered me and was really happy to see me. All smiles. This is a great resort and perfect location, but Antonio makes it special from the very beginning. First impression is very important.

Took the family to the Marina Fiesta for Spring Break 2013.
Good stuff:
-right in the middle of the action, stuff for kids to do
-all inclusive food option was great
-close to Medano beach, the only kid friendly beach in Cabo
-hotel clean, friendly staff
-none of the "extra charges" stuff, other than a USD 1 per room donation to the local red cross

The not so good:
-pool way undersized for the resort
-bars close early
-the USD 30 extra charge to get a cab from the hotel to the airport when you go home.. Get a cab from the street instead and have this cab take you to the hotel then the aiport

The hotel was great. Very conveneint to everything. the restaurants included as part of the all inclusive were absolutely great. The staff were amazing and extremely friendly. Pedro Rojas the bell boy was so accomodating. Wendy always made sure we had the dining time we wanted. Dagoberto Rojas, Mario and Hector were the best. They made sure they served everyone with a smile and we were well taken care of. Solomon was also very nice. Everyday wThey staff took the time to ask us how we were doing and how were we enjoying our vacation. I recommend this hotel to anyone who enjoys the lovely view of the marina and nightlife. The house keeper was also very attentive to our needs. We went out every noght and came back very late. We always felt safe. There are cameras and security guards making sure you get to your room safe.

Room Tip: One tip if you go in March or April bring a warm clothes because it gets chilly once the sun goes do...

l loved every thing about marina fiesta. Great location, right on the marina within walking distance of restuarants and bars. took boat out to the famous Arch and lovers beach, divorce beach. my husband went fishing 1 day on a 5 hr trip with Justo (the captain) , my husband caught 22 mackeral kept 2 gave rest to captain. Justo cleaned the fish, told where to take it to have the restaurant cook it. $11 per person, cooked 7 differant ways ,so so good!! seen sea lions ,whale, pelicans. the sea lions would jump on the swim platform of the boat as the captain was throwing the left over bait to the sea lions .and the pelicans were there also. beach 5-10 minute walk, had much fun on the beach, party, party.. my only complaint were the lounge chairs at the pool very uncomfirtable. day we left the resort to come home they had put out brand new lounge chairs, table + chairs, umbrellas. the 2 hot tubs were hot. food was good. 5 restaurants out side of resort included in all-inclusive package were good.the staff friendly +helpful. everything was fantastic. 1st time in cabo san lucas , can't wait to go back to the marina fiesta again.

Room Tip: Room 219 was find for us,view of pool + marina.
