“Spring Breakers Beware”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2013

Place was absolutely terrible. I stayed here for a week while on my college spring break and the service was awful. They forget to mention when checking in they have a NO guest policy. They have a list of all people staying there and check your name every time you come in. This means if your trying to bring a friend in or someone you would like to spend some "quality" time with, you can't. If you somehow manage to tip the guard and he lets you, they will let you walk 50 feet, grab you and kick your companion out. The employees there were the snakiest people I have ever seen. If your looking for a place to stay and party for spring break, DO NOT STAY HERE!

Great Service, Great Food, Fantastic Location! Will definetly stay here again!
An excellent value. You don't need a cab except maybe for the beach which is not on property. Sushi restaurant is great and you get 40% off spa services on Fridays (check to see if this still applies on your travel dates.) I recommend MariTere for your deep tissue massage and body wrap. Our room was huge (beds were comfortable but definetly not the best I've slept in). The drinks were not watered down and they kept-on-comin!

We arrived with our two boys hoping for a nice quiet family vacation. Little did we know that it was American college sping break and this place was party central. There were hundreds of college kids boozing it up around the pool all day and night. We saw a drunk guy pee in the pool. We saw kids passed out in the hot tub and all the staff did was pick up their empty glasses and left them there. We got woken up every night around 3am when the kids came back from the bar screaming yelling and swearing in the hallways. our room was right beside the main lobby and the staff there didnt even say a word to the spring breakers. My hisband actually had to confront the kids to get them to be quiet. Our kids were wondering what was going on. We were one of only a few families there and ended up going to their sister resort, Hacienda Encantada, to get away from this nonsense. I have never write a bad review if any hotel before but I want to have other families avoid what we went through. We paid a lot of money for our vacation and this is not what we expected.

For a college spring break trip, nothing beats it...

This is a great place in terms of its central location (right in between the Mango Deck and Squid Roe) and of course the fact that it is all-inclusive. However, while it was nice to have a few food options, none of them were really THAT nice. The sushi was good, but just like the hotel, all the restaurants had horrible service.

Room Tip: Make sure to get a balcony facing the marina or ocean

This was my first trip to Cabo and I can't imagine a better place for our type of vacation. The Marina Fiesta has a terrific staff and a great breakfast by the pool each morning. We booked the Golden all-inclusive package and even though you have to wear a wristband, the access to the restaurants in the Marina for the all-inclusive meals and drinks was excellent. These are regular restaurants so you don't get boring, bland buffet food like most all-inclusive resorts.

The Marina offers amazing shopping and from the resort you can quickly walk to the beach as well as to downtown Cabo. We did the beach one day and most other days did pub crawls throughout downtown.

Our Master Suite was huge and beautiful with 2 bathrooms and a balcony overlooking the pool. We spent 2 days lounging at the pool where we had great cocktails (we liked the Dirty Monkey) and Tecate! We always tip for great service and the staff is very appreciative of tipping.

If I have the chance to return to Cabo, I will stay at Marina Fiesta again.

Hector Garay the new waiter is the best because he went out of his way to walk to the 2nd pool which was across the hotel to bring back in forth drinks to our family. He made the trip several times for our family until his shift was over. Of course my husband gave him a generous tip at the end of Hector's shift. If it wasn't for Hector we will not get any drinks at all. Hooray for Hector the best waiter at Marina Fiesta Resort & Spa.

Room Tip: Stay in the south side is quieter and the corner rooms are bigger.

Ive been to Cabo a dozen times and walked by this beautiful hotel numerous times. Took my fiance down to cabo for her first time in 2011 for Sammy's birthday bash. We had talked about getting married in Cabo and so we had checked out a couple places and stopped in Marina Fiesta and talked to them about rooms. The staff was very helpful with all our plans. We told them about 10 rooms and said they would try to keep everybody together. By the time we booked for the wedding we ended up with 2o rooms. We were kind of spread out but they tried their best. Staff at front desk were helpful as was the cincierge was great on everything we asked of him from booking resturants to cabs.the service was a little slow from time to time . The only thing I didnt like was having to sign for everything. That was a pain! The resturants on the pier were for the most part were good.I will definetly stay again. Great location to everything.

Room Tip: Ask for a marina view. It is awsome to sit on the deck and watch the boats in the morning.
