We stayed in Cabo in late Jan. at Siesta Suites and were very satisfied with the price, service and central location. As others have said, it's basic but the all-tile floors were mopped carefully everyday and everything was kept very clean. The staff were very helpful and all the basic comforts are there including a small frig and TV. We liked the location away from main streets but within easy walk of evrything including the marina. We can recommend it to anyone on a budget that still wants a clean, orderly place to stay.

Stayed here for a week at the end of Jan. beginning of Feb. The rooms are basic, but very clean and feature a full fridge and stove. Beds are firm but comfortable. There is no elevator so if you have mobility issues, ask for ground floor. Coffee available for free in the lobby, internet and water, beer, etc. also available for a charge.

The place was very low key, no hassles or timeshare, day activity scams, just a pleasant helpful staff and a very friendly resident cat. If you are looking for a deluxe resort experience, this isn't for you. If you are looking for a mellow, clean downtown hotel that's within easy walking distance to everything, this place is great!

Features a good quality Italian restaurant on site for fancy meals, but for cheap breakfasts and inexpensive dinners, go to the end of the block to The Crazy Lobster. Breakfasts there are only 25 pesos!
Gordo Le Le's taco stand is also right around the corner. 10 peso carne asada tacos!!

We live in La Paz, MX, but travel to Cabo on business. We always stay at the Siesta Suites. Why? The staff is very friendly and helpful. The price is right. The rooms are simple but clean and comfortable, with that authentic, funky Mexican feeling. (The management is currently redecorating rooms and we have fun keeping track of the changes). All rooms have fridges and some have kitchenettes. The banquette couches can serve as another bed. You can walk easily to most Cabo attractions. Shops, restaurants and a small grocery store are nearby. There is a small cooling pool and a delightful courtyard, all tile, enclosing walls and the shade of palm trees. The on-site Italian restaurant/bar has superb food at reasonable prices. There is a furnished terrace on the third floor with a great view. There are computers and Internet access available in the lobby area. There is only one entryway and there are staff on all-night, so the hotel feels safe.

There are some downsides. Parking is available but limited. There is no elevator, so getting to the third and fourth floors can be a challenge. Noise from the disco's and the restaurant/bar can be annoying (but, hey, this is Mexico and Cabo). You are not near any of the beaches.

The restaurant/bar is very popular with the local gringos. As everyone knows, go where the locals go. Many of the folks we meet in the lobby are repeat customers. And so are we.

We went to cabo for the first time in July and after all the great reviews we wanted to stay in an inexpensive hotel that was by the night life. This hotel was great. Kitchen with fridge and freezer was a plus...our other guests stayed in a very expensive resort in san jose and they didn't even have kitchen. The pool was small but so clean and perfect for a quick dip in the heat. The Italian restaurant was some of the best food I had ever had. If you would like a change from the mexican food that you will be eating everyday in cabo that is the place to go. There was a local there who was an American that was at the bar almost everyday and he was so friendly and told us about things to do that we had never heard of and was a just a great person. You are right by the famous Cabo Wabo and all of the other great restaurants and bars to go to. You don't need a car or a taxi to go anywhere in cabo unless you want to go to the out lying beaches or the airport.

The big disappointment was the hot water. The hot water worked for the first day but for the next 4 days it did not work. So taking cold showers was very unpleasant but if the showers worked this hotel would 5 stars all around. I would recommended this hotel to anyone just keep in mind the hot water might be flaky.

This little hotel is located centrally near the marina. Its about a 15 min walk to the main beach in Cabo. Front desk was welcoming and friendly. In fact, I had left my wallet and some papers in my room after check out. The desk held them for 3 days until I was able to return to claim them. :)

Rooms are clean, basic and well-tended. The pool/bar area is very cute. Pool seems to be mainly for looks, however. I never saw anyone in it! I liked the rocking chairs on the landing between the 2nd/3rd floors; awesome place to read!

I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for budget hotel near the "scene" in Cabo.
