The Siesta Suites was the perfect place to stay for our week in Cabo. It is located within a few blocks of the marina, your gateway to everything fun in the water. The rooms were very nice and featured ceiling fans that work well in the bedroom and the kitchen-seating area. Also included in the kitchen was a lovely air conditioner. Tv was small but definitely usable. (many places don't even have tv's) The bed was pretty nice but firm. Inside the closet is another folded up roll away cot you could bring out if needed. The pool was small, perhaps 15x15 but was perfect for a quick cool off and some margarita's by the pool. The restaurant was really tasty and affordable as well. I will be staying here when I go back for sure, as we loved it. There are a few great restaurants on the street for breakfast and other meals including Pancho's (run by retired americans) and Taurino's run by Armando (a super friendly and kind mexican fellow) who coincidentally is good friends with the folks at siesta suites. Try the nachos and the taco lunch specials....yummm.. They sell gatorade and bottled water at the front desk which is lovely since you cannot drink the tap water in Cabo. 2 dollars for a gallon of chilled clean water is a steal. Full kitchen including pots and pans and a very cold refrigerator/freezer make this very very livable for a week or a month plus. A shuttle service for around 13 dollars to get you back to the airport is a welcome bonus (they'll call them for you). This is one of the most inexpensive and nicest places around for your money in town and the location near EVERYTHING make it one of the best. Highly recommended. 5 out of 5 stars for Siesta Suites.

My wife and I just returned from a two-night stay at the Siesta Suites, and it was awesome! We had spent a week prior at the Hacienda del Mar Vacation Club with a large group of friends and this was our chance to unwind before heading home. To give you an idea of how secluded it was, we had dinner at Pancho's, just around the corner, a few nights prior to our stay. After dinner, my buddy and I went outside for some fresh air, and meandered down the street. I was telling him the next place we would be staying was right around here somewhere, but I wasn't sure where it was exactly. We got as far as the Brasil Steakhouse (two doors down from Siesta Suites), and never knew how close we were until the taxi dropped us off when we checked in two days later! The Siesta Suites is a very clean, quaint hotel. I will warn you, the rooms are very small, and basic. But, if you're going to Cabo to hang out in your hotel, then you might as well stay home! The bed (a single mattress on a raised concrete slab) was a little too firm for my liking, but my wife enjoyed it very much. Other than that, everything was superb! The courtyard outside was perfect for sitting in and relaxing while enjoying an ice-cold Corona. The pool was also a bit small, more like an oversized unheated hot tub. But, again, it was the perfect size for sitting in an soaking up some rays before you hit the town. I was amazed at how quiet everything was, we never heard another person in the rooms around us, and there was never any noise from the streets either. There was a little bit of music coming from AJ's at night, but it was very soft and for some reason Frank Sinatra's crooning made me feel right at home! Overall, Siesta Suites has got to be one of, if not the best place to stay in the town of Cabo. We will definitely be back!

My boyrfriend and I just back from Siesta Suites. We stayed there for 5 nights and it was absolutely FABULOUS!!!! It's in old Cabo, walking distance from everywhere....Squid Row, Cabo Wabo, the beach. It's super clean, has exactly what you need while in Cabo, and you can't beat the price. We stayed there for about $50/night. It has an old town feel and it's small, but perfect. You can hang out on the porch and talk to people and get to know them....the other people staying there were all so friendly. There's a penthouse on the top of the hotel that is only $75/night and it's sooo worth it. AJ's Hide Away...the restaurant at the bottom of the hotel has absolutely the BEST food in Cabo. It's hidden....you feel like you've discovered a little special jewel...and it's just wonderful. A fantastic chef named Alex runs it. Go to AJ's when you want to try something different than fish tacos, rice and beans. For the best fish taco's, go to The ROXX. They open at 4pm....and they serve a great Margarita too. Fernandez will hook you up at the ROXX. For great drinks go to the Blue Jungle if Evan is working....he'll serve you very potent 2 for 1 margaritas or pina coladas. For the best breakfast try the Baja Cantina behind the Costa Real Hotel on the marina. I CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK!!! If you're looking for a resort with room service and an elevator....go waste your money somewhere else, but if you want a clean room, comfy bed (I liked the firm beds), good shower, air conditioning, and a real taste of old Cabo in Mexico.....stay at the Siesta Suites. Save yourself a ton of money and relax and enjoy.

My boyfriend and I stayed here during our recent vacation to Cabo San Lucas. It is one of the best places we have ever stayed at. The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable. You have your own kitchen area with stove, sink, and fridge. The staff is warm, friendly, and very knowledgable. They will help you with all your needs and can suggest good places to eat or things to do in Cabo.

It is within walking distance to all the resturants, shops, and nightlife.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at Siesta Suites Hotel and will stay there again whenever we go back to Cabo San Lucas.
