I have used this hotel for the past 20 years for our annual fishing trips and several times just for a get-away. There have been as many as 16 and as few as two of us in our group over the years. We have never been disappointed. The staff go out of their way to be friendly and helpful. I feel like family when I am there. The food at Spencer's restaurant is very good and at a bargain price. The pool was recently renovated. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The bar by the pool is very reasonable in price (especially during happy hour) and provides an excellent view of the pool area. .

I use a hotel room to sleep, not to watch TV or entertain guests, and I have always enjoyed a bargain. This hotel is centrally located downtown and within walking distance of any of the night life, restaurants, and shopping.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone that is looking for a clean, safe, comfortable, bargain hotel in Cabo.

I have just booked my next stay at the Mar de Cortez for next month.

I love this place, we only used the hotel for sleeping and storing our clothes. We were at the beach the remainder of the time. The prices are great, which allowed us to have more money for the fun things Cabo has to offer. I'll always stay here. The staff was awsome too, they set me up with great fishing and diving.

The Mar de Cortez had just what I was looking for, peace and quiet. A restaurant with good food, bar and a pool. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It's located in the downtown area and just a short walk to the harbor, beach and shopping. I had a great time.

If you want to stay somewhere that is quiet, comfortable and a bit of the old country charm, then the Mar de Cortez is for you. It is located in downtown Cabo San Lucas with easy access to just about anywhere you need to go. They have a nice restaurant with good food and a covered open air bar with TV and good drinks. The staff is very friendly and will go out of their way to help you. You can't go wrong picking this as your lodging when visiting Cabo San Lucas.
