“Fun for a few hours”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2013

It's easy to get the water taxis to and from. It wasn't too hard to climb in & out of the boats either. The beach wasn't great for swimming and there was a constant flow of people coming. It is worth spending a few hours but not the whole day. There are no bathroom facilities and little shade. Def walk to Divorce Beach and Peligan Beach.

“Great Swimming Beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2013

This beach was awesome to swim in. The sand is white and the entire beach is clean. The view is beautiful and be sure to take a pair of goggles to see underwater as you swim. Sunscreen, towels, flipflops are encouraged to bring with. You'll be satisfiied that you experienced this cool tide beach.

“Lover's Beach? More like a Tourist Trap”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2013

Dozens of glass-bottom boats brings hoarded of tourists here. The swimming was nice, and the snorkeling was probably fantastic. Seeing the wild Pacific (in Cabo the Pacific is very rough) was a cool comparison to the Sea of Cortez.

However, I could not fathom how this could still be called Lover's Beach. The guys working the boats will give you this tour and tell you how romantic "Lovers Cave" is supposed to be, and all of that type of stuff. But really, the cave is only 15 feet deep and opens right in front of anyone, no loving happens in there. This beach is no more romantic than anywhere else, unless you could miraculously get it privately, and you probably arent about to be ABC's The Bachelor any time soon.

Oh, and it is secluded and the boats drop you off for about an hour. THERE IS NO SHADE, NO WATER, and obviously no bathroom. Peddlers will RENT out shady spots, they're in cahoots with the boat people. Dont go without sunscreen or sandals.
