Just got back from a long weekend at the Cabo Costa Real, and had an absolute blast! Booked a great deal on United Vacations, added on the junior suite and all-inclusive package. If you like to drink, going all-inclusive is definitely the way to go. Nothing quite like a swim-up bar. The hotel itself is very clean and the staff very friendly. As the other reviews stated, the beds are indeed hard but the maids will bring up a pad if you ask. Nothing special about the rooms, but we weren't in there for much time anyway. The food in the buffet was decent, breakfast being the best meal. They also have a nicer restaurant that is only open for dinner, had excellent coconut shrimp one night and lobster another(an additional $12 was added for the lobster). The location on the marina is perfect, the best feature of the hotel. It was very easy to hop on the free water taxi to the beach. Once at the beach, I was pleasantly suprised to learn that our wristbands worked there as well for the free drinks and snacks(chips, salsa, quesadillas). Only major con is the renovation, just be sure to ask for a room as far from it as possible as the jack hammering starts around 8am. Overall a wonderful trip, I would recommend this hotel to families and singles alike.
