We arrived in Cabo San Lucas on a Thursday, with transfers through Greyline and had a great experience with them.

On arriving at the hotel, which we booked online, we found check in to be fast and courteous. There were no problems at all with our room or with any timeshare hounding!

Our room was fantastic and having a kitchenette was hugely helpful, as you could shop on the way into Cabo at the many supermarkets, or pop along the road to a MegaMart to pick up essentials.

The pool was great, although small, and drinks service fantastic- no major happy hour or specials that I noticed though,

The location is fantastic and just steps away is the Mango Deck and The Office- both of which we ate/drank at. We found The Office to be VERY expensive, but the margaritas were delicious and the show at night is entertaining.

The Mango Deck is much cheaper, and a much younger crowd (20's and 30's with no families) and the food was great. Happy Hour is 2 for 1, and it works out to be really reasonable. Loads of tequila and loads of fun!

After 2 days at Pueblo Bonito, we moved on to the Sheraton Hacienda Del Mar which was absolute heaven on earth- the best place we have ever stayed, and may ever stay, but we did have timeshare so the real cost was quite low.

Pueblo Bonito is great for the location, proximity to town, and the atmosphere- not that many kids, fairly quiet and good food/drinks.

The hotel, amentities, and overall look at the hotel were excellent. Where I had problems is that I paid for two rooms for 4 nights. Upon check in the front desk brought me in the back where a gentlemen explained to me that they did not have any rooms available even though I had pre-paid. After negotiating, he finally gave us one room that 5 of us had to share. He said to keep checking at the front desk to see if another room became available. Two days later one did and we split up into the two rooms. Upon check out each room bill was zeroed out and the manager said I needed to contact my travel agent to get reimbursed for the two nights I paid for in which we didnt receive a room. My travel agency has called the hotel almost a dozen times trying to get the situation handled but each time the manager either "isn't available" or "not in." Also even after getting a bill with a zero balance, two days later we were charged an additional $500 for the room that I had already paid for.! I'm now in the process of trying to get reimbursed a total of $1000. Buyer beware when dealing with the management at Pueblo Bonito Blanco.

I used trip advisor to research hotels and initially wanted to stay at the Pueblo Bonito Rose (which is right next door). I didn't book the reservation fast enough and the rate I wanted was gone, but I was able to get a good deal on the Blanco so we stayed there. I'm SO glad we did. At one point we walked next door to Rose (you can use all of their ammenities) and it was SO crowded and loud that we walked right back to Blanco. I went with one other girlfriend with relaxation in mind (I'm 30, she's 24) , we weren't really there to meet people or party, and Blanco was perfect for that. I would recommend Rose if you're looking for more of a 'scene'.

I was unsure as to whether we should agree to a timeshare presentation - my mother and father had gone the month before to a different hotel and said that the people were incredibly pushy by the end of it. We finally agreed and our presentation was at the Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach, which is another sister property. They provided transportation to and from Blanco. We got free breakfast and $200 to spend at the hotel for agreeing to the presentation. The presentation was actually a tour (about 1.5 hours in all) of this beautiful property. Once I explained that I couldn't purchase the vacation timeshare they were fine - not pushy at all! AND we got to hang out at their sky pool all day (Sunset Beach has 5 pools in all and we were welcome to all of their amenities as well). Not sure if everyone's experience will be that laid back and great, but ours was.

Overall I thought the Blanco was great - it was a great stretch of beach and unlike some of the other beach areas - we were able to swim in the ocean (the undertow was not an issue). For a hotel the food was reasonably priced as well. The only thing that I was missing was a swim up bar!

Other items: we used Transcabo for transportation (especially after reading another negative review about Greyline) and we didn't have any issues. We also went ziplining with Xtreme Canopy Tour, which was fun. Something different to do - they provide transportation to and from the hotel. It was incredibly hot though and your climbing up in the canyon, so be prepared to sweat!

Overall we had a great time and can't wait to go back! I would definitely stay at Blanco again given what you get for the money.

Beautiful Hotel and location. A few years back we stayed at Hacienda Beach and wanted to stay there again and we were sad to hear they closed. After much research I decided on PB Blanco. Location was most important to us. We wanted to be on Medano Beach and walking distance to town. What a perfect choice. This hotel is gorgous and so clean. They upgraded us to a luxury suite on the fifth floor-the top floor of the hotel and the last room on the end-503. Great view and quiet! Nice kitchenette although we didnt use it exept for the refrigerator to stock up on beer and water that we bought at a little mercado down the street. We would eat breakfast at Las Palomas in the hotel by the pool. Very good-green chilequelas are soo good. And then we would head down to the beach loungers where they had cabanas and umbrellas for shade and they would bring you food and drinks. Soo relaxing. I love that they still bring your beers in a bucket of ice! The pool was small, but very nice and good for cooling off or playing volleyball. The hotel is low key which we like. We dont want a big party hotel. Going to town is fun for that but we just wanted to relax at our hotel. We went the last weekend in April, which was quiet because it was after spring break and before school gets out. I highly recommend this time of year because it is not crowded and the weather was perfect. Short walk to the Office and other beach bars and to the marina and town. We ate dinner at the LaGolandria a.k.a. the Trailer Park. The prices have doubled since we were there last but still good lobster and tortillas. Lots of food-good for sharing. You can walk there from the hotel. Food, cabs and drinks are very expensive but very good. We also ate at my favorite restaurant Mi Casa-the Chiles en Nogada and Carnitas are to die for! Cabo is the best even though it is very americanized. It still has its charm if you stay away from the touristy marina area and go to the good places that have been there a long time. Its clean and we never got sick. All we did was drink and eat! We also did horseback riding on the beach at sunset for $30USD total for the two of us and we took out a nice fishing boat for half a day which ended up being a very expensive cruise. We did see dolphins and whales though but NO fish! You really have to talk the locals down for everything because they charge so much now for everything and you talk them down to what it really costs! We cant wait to go back and will for sure stay at PB Blanco again! Im so glad we stayed there.

What a wonderful hotel in Cabo...right on the beach...within easy walking distance of downtown...good food and wonderful suites (our top floor suite had a great balcony with wonderful views of the ocean and lands end...and I got great pictures of the Albatrosses flying right over head. Everything about this resort hotel speaks of luxury....come here to unwind and you will come back again and again.
