We arrived in Cabo San Lucas on a Thursday, with transfers through Greyline and had a great experience with them.
On arriving at the hotel, which we booked online, we found check in to be fast and courteous. There were no problems at all with our room or with any timeshare hounding!
Our room was fantastic and having a kitchenette was hugely helpful, as you could shop on the way into Cabo at the many supermarkets, or pop along the road to a MegaMart to pick up essentials.
The pool was great, although small, and drinks service fantastic- no major happy hour or specials that I noticed though,
The location is fantastic and just steps away is the Mango Deck and The Office- both of which we ate/drank at. We found The Office to be VERY expensive, but the margaritas were delicious and the show at night is entertaining.
The Mango Deck is much cheaper, and a much younger crowd (20's and 30's with no families) and the food was great. Happy Hour is 2 for 1, and it works out to be really reasonable. Loads of tequila and loads of fun!
After 2 days at Pueblo Bonito, we moved on to the Sheraton Hacienda Del Mar which was absolute heaven on earth- the best place we have ever stayed, and may ever stay, but we did have timeshare so the real cost was quite low.
Pueblo Bonito is great for the location, proximity to town, and the atmosphere- not that many kids, fairly quiet and good food/drinks.
