We loved this hotel. We expected to stay in a 1BR, but were upgraded to a master suite - it was spacious, maid service could not have been better, the colors were aesthetically pleasing, the beds comfy (except the sofabed, which never is), and we had a great view of the pool, palms and the sea of Cortez from our balcony & living room. The staff were friendly, and went out of their way to be helpful and personable. The ocean was swimmable, but the weather was cooler and cloudier than usual, so we swam in the warm pool. The food was excellent, the margaritas expensive, but worth the beachfront ambiance of one of the restaurants (& there's happy hour). Massages next door at Pueblo Bonito Rose were superb. We went to a timeshare presentation for Pueblo Bonito Sunset (not mandatory), and saw this stunning place, and received $200 off our food/drink bill + discounted massages. Some have complained of the beach sellers - they stay behind a cordoned off hotel area, so interaction with them is optional. An unanticipated extra: 59 sea turtles hatched from their nest in the sand in front of the hotel over two days - the hotel staff has been trained in survival techniques, since they are endangered, and eased their entry into the world and eventually the sea - it was very touching (see photo - they were gathered and released all together). They also were very caring with our 92 year old mother, who needed some assistance. The hotel is moderate in size, and right on the beach, so it's very easy to get around and to relax in the sun. PB Blanco is not secluded, dramatic or frenetic - it’s easy, relaxed, cheerful, attractive & friendly, with terrific views. which was perfect for us.
