We just returned on 5/22 from 9 days at the Pueblo Bonito Blanco in Cabo San Lucas. We were so pleased with our service and the staff I need to share that with other selecting a hotel. First of all, there are only 4 hotels in Cabo on the swimming beach...this also allows you to walk to town in 10 minutes. Choices include the Meila, the PB Rosa and the PB Blanco. The hotel is pristine and offers great views of the arch, it has a great pool and the service is exceptional. We usualy select hotels from "Leading Hotels of the World" so were very pleased with the great staff, everything was clean, the water for ice and drinking in purified. Mario, at the pool will take care of your every need for drinks and snacks...tip him in cash rather than the hotel tab. He is wonderful and the bellman and maids were as well. Good restarants in town are Margaritaville, The Stop Light, Lonzillio's and several others. Within 5 minutes from the hotel beach is the Office which is very good. The Rosa is the sister property and is equally beautiful but due to the shape does not offer spectacular views, however the spa and gym are AAA and you are allowed signing priviledges at both properties. We did visit the Pacifica and the Sunset Beach, they face the Pacific and there is no "beach". They are fantastic properties but we like to walk the beach and loved the Sea of Cortez, seeing the Cruise ships and sailboats from out balcony. The Luxury Suites are wonderful but if you are a couple of 2 the Jr Suite is large and offers a great small kitchen. Take your own coffee and snacks, also visit the super-market in town and the taxi is only $5. You can bring home beer, soda and all kinds of snacks for the kitchen. The food at the hotel is very good and reasonable in price..we saved no money by going into town. The breakfast buffet at the Rosa was great. The Blanco is Greek in style and the Rosa is Roman, both are beautiful. If you stay at the Rose ask for a room close to the beach. I highly recommend these properties and am planning a second trip to the same hotel. It is rest, relaxation and sun with superior service.

Our vacation at Pueblo Bonito Blanco Los Cabos was the worst vacation we have ever experienced! It all started from the time we arrived until the time we checked out. When we arrived we were presented with a welcome package that turned into a high-pressured invitation to a time-share presentation. The beach was nice but because of the constant nuisance of vendors trying to sell you junk, you couldn't relax. The food at the restaurant was mediocre and very expensive. The walk into town was not safe. You can either get there by walking around the marina and getting stopped by a couple of hoodlums or you can walk the smelly dirt roads with no sidewalks and a minimum amount of streetlights. There was just no good way to get there. You can take a taxi, but it'll cost you around $6.00 each way. It was cheaper to eat in town but you are also vulnerable to sickness. When you eat in town, try not to get sick. DO NOT EAT UNCOOKED VEGETABLES OR ORDER DRINKS WITH ICE. We ate at a well known U.S. restaurant in town the second night of our vacation and a friend of mine got really sick. It didn't hit him until 2am that night. An hour later his symptoms were worsening, we had to call the doctor. Although the hotel noted they have a doctor on call 24 hours, the concierge wasn't able to get in touch with him until 7am that morning. We ended up taking him to the hospital nearby and I'll tell you that being at that hospital wasn't what you would experience in the U.S. Five hours at the hospital and we were ready to go home. Luckily, our airline was able to get us out of Mexico the following day. Lastly, when we were checking out, we noticed on our bill that we were being charged for a 2 hour phone call that occurred during the time we were at the hospital. Luckily, because it was an error made on their end they credited us for the cost of that call. The only nice things I can say about this hotel is that it was a beautiful hotel with well kept grounds and immaculate rooms and excellent maid service. We made made sure she was tipped very well when we left.

My wife and I stayed here, and it was the greatest vacation we ever took. This place has outrageously good service, fantastic attention to detail, and the staff gladly take care of your every want and need with smiling faces. We were able to forget about all of lifes stresses, etc, and just have a week of pure relaxation and fun. Who wouldn't want to wake up in the morning, go out on your deck, and watch the sunrise over the beautiful Sea of Cortez, as fishing boats are headed out to sea? Breathtaking, and heaven on earth. We will be back anytime we can, because we found our paradise!!!

We just stayed at the Pueblo Bonito blanco from March 7-14th, 2005. AMAZING resort and 5 star in every single way. We have travelled all through the caribbean and must say, this resort has it down. They understand that customer service is the KEY to making your trip extra special.

We stayed in suite 320 and it was perfect for our family. Our little 4-year old daughter just loved the pool (where she learned to swim)! The beach is beautiful, and if you just politely say 'no gracias', the sellers will NOT hound you. They were polite and simply trying to make a buck....some nice things can be bought there anyway.

We bought this resort on an e-bay auction and it was exactly as the web-site showed. They really take pride in keeping this resort clean and the housekeeping staff is on top of their game.

The only negative issue we had during our stay was related to the timeshare presentation. We had been contemplating buying a unit in Cabo so we decided to do the timeshare tour to the Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach resort (sister resort on the Pacific side). Although the resort was amazing to see, the minute my husband and I asked for a moment to discuss this purchase, our timeshare experience took a turn for the worse. The girls assisting the timeshare sales men were so incredibly RUDE that any chance of us buying a unit was ruined. High pressue and rude people...avoid the timeshare tour. Wasted an entire day, even though they asked for only 90 minutes of our time!

Can't wait to visit the Pueblo again...sure we will soon.

The hotel is great. The check in process is a disaster. I spent two weeks at this property and the check in process was so terrible I will never return
The manage of reservations Juan Carlos is rude, very unprofessional, and has absolutely no customer service skills. I will be writing to the owners of this property to voice my complaints over his attitude. He does not belong in the position he holds. I will never return based on my experience with him. There are many other places to stay without putting up with his rude behavior. I have traveled all over the country and have never experienced anything even close to this fiasco.
