Stayed early July with two adults and two children along with another family that had another room. We had trouble with the front desk staff right from the moment we arrived. They were more than wiling to accomodate anything we wanted as long as we offered them a tip in American Dollars. The furniture and accomodations were old and worn and the sofa bed completely came apart when we pulled it out the first night. Asked for an appointment with a manager for the next day, but never got one. No ice machine. Have to call room service for ice. Took three calls and 45 minutes each time. Unbelieveable.

Location is great on the beach and the wait staff is generally helpful. Some waiters were clearly better than others. It was also nice to be able to take the free shuttle to the other Pueblo Bonito resorts in the area. Warning: You must have a free ticket to board the shuttle. In the two minutes it takes to walk inside and get your free ticket, the shuttle will leave and you will have to go back in and get another ticket for the next shuttle an hour later. Also, the pool menu is the same at all four Pueblo Bonito resorts. Gets old after a while.

On the positive side, the maid service was outstanding. Cleaned whatever dishes we had everyday, turned down the beds, etc.

I think we will try somewhere else next time.
