My husband and I were able to stay at the Pueblo Bonito Blanco by exchanging our timeshare. We were notified of availability for one week at Blanco and 2 weeks later we were there!! We didn't have time to do a lot of research but we were so happy with the Blanco. Yes, it is an older hotel, but it did not matter. They keep the grounds immaculate and everyone from the housekeepers to the front desk staff do a wonderful job of ensuring that you are having a great stay.

This hotel is in a great location. We did not take a cab anywhere during the week that we were there. It is within walking distance of the marina and many other great restaurants. Our favorite restaurant was La Golondrina, although it is pricey. This restaurant is an easy 5 minute walk from the hotel.

A couple of blocks away from the hotel is a place called "City Club" which is just like Costco. They only charge you $2.50 for one shopping trip and you can load up on the goods that you will need for the week. We bought beer, bagels, water, pop, etc and saved a lot of money. The drink prices at the hotel are a rip-off.

We did the timeshare presentation at the Blanco's sister resort, Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach. We were skeptical of doing so, but it ended up not being too bad. We went on a morning when the weather was not very nice so we weren't missing out on pool time. For attending the presentation we received $200 in food and beverage at the resort AND they paid for our snorkeling trip with Pez Gato which was $100. It was a nice way to see the Sunset Beach property and get paid for taking a look at it. A word of warning........make sure you are very aware of exactly what the food and beverage certificates can be used for. We had been going every morning to get lattes at the deli over at the Rose and we found out upon checkout that those are not covered. Also not covered is gratuity. We used our certificates to have an exceptional meal at La Nao restaurant at Sunset Beach. We would have not gone there had we not had the certificates, as it is very expensive. As long as you get very clear instructions as to where you can use the certificates, you wont have to worry about any unexpected (and unpleasant) surprises when you check out!

Recommended places to eat..........La Nao (Sunset Beach), La Golondrina - both very expensive but good

For cheap but delicious tacos, go to Pepe's. I would avoid Crazy Lobster. I was unimpressed but my husband did love their tortilla soup.

Another great thing about staying at the Blanco is that the PB Rose is right next door so you literally have 2 pools and 4 restaurants to choose from. Both properties are beautiful.

I highly recommend Pez Gato for a chartered snorkeling trip. The group was having a great time and the staff made the trip a lot of fun. You can tell they love their jobs!

If you have the opportunity to stay at any of the Pueblo Bonito resorts - Blanco, Rose, or Sunset Beach - I don't think that you will be disappointed!

My husband and I just returned from a 3 night anniversary stay at the Pueblo Bonito Blanco. We had an amazing time! The hotel was spotless at all times. The people were very friendly and worked so hard to make us comfortable. At night when we returned from dinner and a walk on the beach, our bed was made down and a mint was on our pillow. Tip the ladies who are in housecleaning a couple of dollars a day if you can. They are very sweet and work hard too!

This hotel is in the perfect location. We never took a cab anywhere. We walked down the beach and around the marina to the mall and downtown. We also would walk out the front of the hotel and down the street a few blocks to downtown. ( Walk on the left! The timeshare people are in booths on the right of the street! BEWARE) Make sure you stop at a taco stand on your way about 2 blocks from the hotel on your right. There is a sign above his stand that says "The Place." He serves only shrimp, smoked marlin, and squid tacos for $2 USD. We ate lunch there everyday! It is really good, cheap, and the owner is very friendly. Our favorite place to eat was on the beach. It was called "The Office". You could eat right on the beach, it was expensive, but worth the fun and romance. We went to the little deli outside the hotel and bought cereal and milk for breakfast so we could splurge at dinner. It was a good trade.

I have nothing negative to say about Cabo except the people who are selling items are very annoying! Learn to say a short "no" and keep walking. We counted 13 people who tried to stop us on our way back down the beach from the marina one day. Also, if you eat on the beach, do not get a table on the edge. The people selling things will stand by you and keep holding their goods up trying to get you to notice them. Get a table in the middle. You are safe there.

I hope someone finds this review helpful. I did a lot of research before we choose this hotel. We were not dissapointed at all. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! We miss the weather, the beauty, and the romance already.

My husband & I just returned from a wonderful trip to Cabo for New Years. This was our 2nd stay in Cabo and we booked at the Pueblo Bonito Blanco through [----]. We got a great rate through a timeshare owner who was not using her week this year. This is a great, inexpensive way to book a vacation! Just make sure you get legit documentation of ownership. The PBB was one of the cleanest resorts we've ever visited. The staff was constantly cleaning! We stayed in a junior suite which was very spacious. The suite has a small kitchen so we went into town for groceries and cooked some of our breakfasts/
lunches in the room. The decor throughout the resort is a little bit dated but the views are incredible. We had a couple of meals at the resort; lunch was good, but our dinner was just OK. The portions were very small. All of the staff members were very friendly, service was at times slow but I think that's just the culture-- nobody is in a hurry.

Upon arrival at PBB we were offered to visit Pueblo Bonito Sunset (on the pacific side) for a timeshare presentation, which we did. It took up about 3 hours total of our day, it is a beautiful resort. The visit
was worth it b/c they gave us $200 in food & beverage for any of the PB resorts. We visited PB Rose for drinks one evening for a change of
scenery.

The location of PBB is perfect, right in the middle of medano beach, close to town where we often walked for dinner/entertainment. Right next door to PBB is ME Cabo & Nikki Beach where we went for a great NYE party.

I would recommend PBB to anyone looking for a low-key vacation - not too luxurious, just very simple. My only complaint (not to the fault of the resort) is that there were way too many kids there. We couldn't
spend any time in the pool b/c it was always packed with children. If
you are looking for a romantic getaway, this may not be the place for you.

We stayed at the PBB Dec. 11-16 of this year. We knew nothing about Cabo and I did quite a bit of research on Trip Advisor regarding hotels and due to ratings and price we picked the PBB.

Location ~
The PBB had a great location. Right in the middle of Medano Beach we could see the arch area, the marina, cruise ships and had just enough people traffic for good people watching.

Check In/Out ~
Both went extremly smoothly. We had two rooms on the second floor. One had a better view, but a smaller balcony.

Rooms ~
The rooms were great. Sized nice, comfortable beds, cold fridge, bathrooms were a good size and the balconies were very nice!!!

Cleanliness ~
This resort was kept extremely clean!!! The rooms were always being cleaned in the afternoon. The pool never looked dirty and the beach was kept nice also.

Amenities ~
The activities desk was great, pool was great temperature, shops were nice (the boutique wasn't open much).

Restaurants ~
We only went to the one located on the right hand side when on the beach and only for breakfast, but we were pleased with the food and service.

Timeshare Staff ~
They were a bit pushy, but not enough for me to give them a poor rating. Just be firm with a no if you aren't interested. However if you are...you can work a great deal on the perks you receive for looking at the PBS.

All in all we were VERY pleased with the PBB and really I can't come up with anything to talk about that wasn't positive. It wasn't the highest end hotel we saw nor was it anywhere close to the lowest end. I would highly recommend it to anyone interested.

Enjoy!

We loved PBB. I spent ages on TA looking at reviews as we knew nothing about Cabo. I finally decided on PBB and I was not disappointed. We had a ground floor room which overlooked the ocean and the pool, a good size patio which was perfect for a cold beer while watching everything around us. The room was clean and a good size and having the little kitchenette was perfect, we made our own lunches most days and breakfast on some (bought our groceries at CCC). The location was perfect, short stroll to The Mango Deck which had 2for1 cocktails all day and great entertainment. A little further on to the Marina which was definitely where all the action was. We only used taxis twice as everything was so close that we could walk everywhere. We were asked about timeshare once when we arrived to which we politely said no and we never got hassled once more after this. We caught some Mahi Mahi on a fishing trip and the chef at the hotel made us an entree and a main with it, delicious! Both restaurants were really good but there is so much around Cabo that we only ate there twice (1 breakfast and 1 dinner). I really rec ommend this hotel and would stay there again next time. We loved Cabo!!
