My wife & I just returned from six days at Rose. This was our second stay, the first being in 2001. We have to say that their staff is absolutely first rate. They were always extremely friendly, fast and helpful. Unlike many other resort destinations we have traveled to, the food and drinks at Rose are excellent. However, it is not cheap. It's likely the cost of using quality ingredients, but there didn't seem to be a meal that cost less than $50 for two. Our junior suite was larger than most hotel rooms and featured two comfortable beds, sitting area, balcony and handy kitchenette. The rooms are clean and nicely appointed. The hotel and grounds are immaculately manicured and kept. The pool area is large and beautiful with plenty of activities. Although a bit crowded during our stay, we never had much trouble finding lounge chairs. The pool staff was excellent. We never had to wait long to get our drinks or food order. It's located right on the beach, but the waves are strong and the Pacific waters are a bit cool. It's perfect for beach walks. The hotel is located within walking distance of all Cabos popular restaurants, clubs and shopping. There is a small home accessories store called Chile Y Anis. Lots of cool stuff and is located near the hotel. Keep in mind Cabo has LOTS of timeshares. Rose is no exception. We are owners there and are very satisfied. But, you are bombarded with offers to go to timeshare presentations. It starts the minute you step foot out of baggage claim. Even as a Pueblo Bonito guest you are pressured to attend their presentation. I can't say it's not worth it. Their Sunset Beach property is awesome (so awesome, in fact, we will be staying there for our next visit). We were given $200 off our bill and several discounts. They say it lasts 90 minutes, but be prepared for at least three hours, start to finish. It was a nice tour with only moderate pressure to buy.
We highly recommend this property!!!
