An excellent location, great food, clean, friendly and welcoming. The PBR is our 3rd Cabo hotel in 2 years, and our favorite thus far. Only negatives are no swim up bar! Cabo is nice, but be prepared for many timeshare pitches, but the key is to say you have been there for a week and going home in the morning (then the leave you alone, they know you already heard it all!) even if it's your first day there! If someone is extra friendly or nice, they want your time.... Food there is amazing, sushi, seafood, and of course the taste of Mexico at it's best. Enjoy!

I just returned from a 5 day vacation to Cabo with some girlfriends and we had a BLAST. The hotel was fantastic. Very clean, beautiful grounds, super-friendly staff, good food/drinks and great location. If you are going with friends, the executive suite worked out perfect, with 3 beds and 2 full baths. It is a huge room, and we didn't feel crowded at all.

We read the reviews before we came down, so we were prepared for the time-share nonsense. We were approached when we walked in the hotel, told them we had zero interest, and that was that. We were not hasseled at all.

We loved Squid Roe and The Office, which is just a short walk down the beach. GREAT vacation.

Two couples just returned from The Pueblo Bonito Rose and had a great time at the hotel and in Cabo. The hotel was clean and well maintained by staff throughout the day. All of the service personnel at the hotel were courteous and seemed genuinely happy to have us as guests. While we only ate lunch at the hotel, that food was good. Throughout our eight day stay, the drinks were plentiful and were definitely not diluted! Cabo is not a cheap Mexican destination, but the prices for food and drink were not different than US cities or resort areas. The shuttle to the Sunset Beach property is prompt at every hour. It was nice to be able to spend some time out there, but we were glad that we were staying at Rose. The gym and the Spa were excellent facilities and were staffed by people who were trying to make your stay enjoyable. Finally, we were approached by a timeshare salesperson upon check-in. We calmly said "no", and never heard from them again. Enjoy the Rose.

We stayed at the Pueblo Bonito Rose the first week of April. We had a great time. The hotel is very clean and everyone that worked there was very accomodating. The pool is huge and very nice. The location is excellent. There are lots of water sports available which keep the kids busy. There are several beach bars just down the beach. The Office and the Mango Deck are fun and offer good food and cheap beer. The Rose is about a fifteen minute walk to town. We said no to the time share tour, we did not want to waste three hours of our vacation. Once we said no they never asked again. We did check out the Sunset Beach which is awesome and is probably one of the nicest resorts in Cabo but is secluded and too quiet for our family. The Rose is a very nice hotel. If we go back we will definitely stay at the Rose.
