“Excellent Experience!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2014

We just returned from a 2-week stay at Pueblo Bonito Rose. We had an excellent experience! The cleaning ladies were considerate and efficient, very appreciative and respectful of our privacy when we asked. The front desk staff were accommodating and in particular, the bellboy ALBERTO was fantastic! Very friendly and fun and fast to help us with whatever we needed (taxi, luggage, etc). We stayed in a junior suite (4 people) and had everything we needed to make and eat breakfast and lunch in, with a small kitchen for cooking stovetop dinners as well! The food poolside was OK, but we preferred to eat lunch in the room with the kids. The activity leaders, LINDA and SANDRA were fabulous with the kids and loads of fun! The resort was clean, well maintained and very high energy! We will go back ~ soon!

Room Tip: Request a room away from Spring Breakers! No fault of the resort, but the outside hallways echo qui...

The service overall was alright. Except for the waiter Noe. He was so nice and kept checking on my friends and I while we had dinner. He is the absolute best and such a fun waiter. He made our friends birthday that night. Best waiter at the hotel by far.

Once again, Pueblo Bonito Rose has exceeded our expectations for this year's trip to Cabo. This was our 6th time staying at PBR over the past few years. The property and staff are outstanding and offer more than we expect. Cleanliness, staff courtesy, and facility amenities and activities in the day and evening keep us coming back. My ONLY repeated complaint is their lack of property-wide Wi-Fi. It's 2014. Not having free Wi-Fi is like renting a room with no toilet. Pay-per-use Wi-Fi is available, but come on! If you're one of the people taking a work-cation, Wi-Fi needs to be available everywhere and included in the room rate. LIke I said, this is the ONLY complaint I have. Everything else about the property is outstanding and EVERY room is ocean view. Nice job PBR! BTW - location to the marina, restaurants, and shopping local market area is only a 10-15 minute walk. Proximity to "beach bar" activities along the beach is also just 5 minutes away.

Room Tip: All rooms have a view of the ocean - however the better views are from rooms on the upper floors

First thing is to get all inclusive. It's the only way to go in Cabo. The food is great and the drinks are strong the way we like them. They wait on you hand and foot like your a king and queen. Guadalupe,Alberto, and Fermin were awesome.

Room Tip: Get the first floor if you can..

Historically I have stayed at the Solmar (now the Grand Solmar) which is wonderful and not a fair comparison to the Rose. With that said, this is the first time staying on the Medano beach side, let alone the Bonito Rose. I was pleasantly surprised by the resort. Although a bit older, we were very happy with it overall. We especially enjoyed the spa and workout facility, which we used everyday! Everyone is very pleasant and the grounds were well maintained and the room was clean and had everything we needed. Lots of activities going on at the pool everyday and we liked hanging out there if we weren't playing in the ocean or in town. Easy walk to downtown and it was fun exploring that side of the bay which I hadn't done before. The Bonito Rose is a good bang for the buck, we didn't do the all inclusive because we either cooked our own meals or were away from the resort too much to make it cost effective. I would stay her again, for sure..

Room Tip: We asked for an ocean view if possible and got a partial view which was just fine. Probably ask for...

After reading some of the reviews I booked with mixed expectations and I'm so glad I did.
If your looking for a 5 star boutique resort keep looking. If your looking for a resort with clean, nice size rooms and adequate furnishing this is it.
The staff was excellent they were so friendly and accommodating. The beach is very busy with locals selling their wares and yes they do try and sell but if your not interested a polite thank you is all that's necessary. The timeshare people also try to sell which is there job and a firm not interested works. The resort is a short walk or very inexpensive cab ride to the downtown area. I would recommend this resort and I hoping to return. I did not purchase the all inclusive so can not really comment on food. I did eat at Cilantro's and the food and service were good.
Loved the little coffee and deli and general store. They had about everything but beware very expensive. Walmart is a better choice .
